Yeah it does feel really strange how large the disparity is. Some figures gets more attention that necessary. While others gets less than necessary. I'd be an advocate for doing 2 different characters on one head, instead of 2 expressions. when it comes with smaller characters. to get the most value for budget. Like Greaves/Grindlewald, Moody/Barty Jr. I know the reason they did that to those. but it would work great for non morphing characters too. its better to get a new face with a different character on the back. than no new face at all. After this year we have 3 different heads exclusively for Luna, shes an example where one side could have been sacrificed for example to Lavender. Though i would have recomended doing Male on one side and Female on other side in those cases. JUST to avoid people putting the wrong face forward. (so annoying when reviewers use the wrong faces)

I just hope Ron has a NEW more serious mature face in the cmf. his two current expressions are a bit too cartoony for my liking. and the first cmf face is a bit daft.

I think you're confusing things with the Hogwarts express using movie 2 figues.

Far as i know the CMF uses the exact same face as 2019 sets.

From what I can tell the hair is a recolor? if so they had the budget to recolor ANY hair piece. if it HAD to be one that fits a bow how about this? more volume (sidebar: I would like to see how this looks on snape, curious) That face is no longer in production.

I had thought this hair recolored would have been great for Lavender. The friends hairpieces looks so flat, no volume. Surely less off than what we have now?

SO that weird aqua?? color on rons torso we dont have dual molded arms for right? But what about the color of his shirt detail? that light blue, could dual molded arms in that color work for him, if they exist?

OMG so bad. they even chose one of her most generic tops... Shes a rather loud character but that figure is like absolute zero.

Kreacher is a perfect CMF figure. Adds some significant variety to the series. Just some general ideas/ thoughts based on 2019 one. 1-6 minifigs 7 christmas tree 8 fireplace 9 table 10 food 11 piano 12 sofa 13 kitchen cabinet w/shelves 14 bed 15 gifts 16 portrait 17 table 18 food 19 various props+ animal 20 sidetable with lamp 21 stove 22 pot and pan 23-24 ? with other advent calendars they do a lot of random builds so there is room for non grimmauld place things too. 2019 we got 4 days of flags x[

Borgin and burkes in chamber of secrets exterior is super similar to the building that is "currently" directly to the right of Ollivanders. So just having it part of diagol alley street shouldn't look out of place. if that were the rout they took. half blood prince ollivanders exterior look too much like ollivanders in my opinion. but again as a building style fits in perfectly in diagon alley.

You mean after you get him in the cmf with the dog. :P (guess) Christmas Sirius is a bit specific but a better calendar fig than no jacket Flitwick.

If it is indeed so expensive, I'd iamgine at least all the shops they go into in the movies are included. That's likely why we get the leaky cauldron. If each building is separate to be connected with pins, then they end up using a lot mroe peices to build all the side walls. Borkin and Burkes doesn't exactly have the most interesting exterior.

I hope we do not get the burrows version of Tonks. Theres hope considering we dont get the burrows attack costumes for Molly and arthur. What I would prefer is the ministry battle outfit. guess most other people want the black "punk" coat?

they swap the mold out in the machine when they need to produce something else. they do this a lot to like fill up their stock of various things.

Hogs head + necklace scene

its using the same torso as the normal set. The only new thing about that figure is a SLIGHTY different face print. Such a waste of a cmf.

well in azkaban she wears a kangaroo hoodie, with dark stripes.in oot its a pullover with a buttoned shirt underneath. so thers a MUCH larger difference btween those two outfits than it is with Harrys grey hoodied ootp and hpb the difference is the color of the pocket. and round seams on shoulder.

As i've talked about before here, its not the EXACT same one. the cmf one is from HBP with specific details from that film. on the torso print. However yea, its so very similar it will be real odd if lego makes a different print to be the proper ootp jacket. Maybe they will reuse the fig form the room of requirement set. Unless its another cmf series 1 Malfoy situation......
