  1. Well, it might not be the optimal solution, it does make a huge difference. So much that I'm going to get another PF motor and a PF switch to reverse it :-)
  2. I was also wondering how to reverse the second motor and tested the following. Might help some of you out. First motor is a PF motor connected to the IR receiver. Second motor is an RC motor with a reglar 9v wire connected to a 9v/PF extension wire which is connected to the IR receiver. You have to make sure that the ends of the 9v and extension wire are connected with the electical wires on the same side. Like on the images. I'm pretty excited about this setup, it pulls my old 12v cars trough curves without a problem!
  3. Bstf forum? Sorry for posting it in the wrong forum. I thought it would interest train fans only, but yes it might be interesting for others too.
  4. I was at the V&D store in Amsterdam and they sell the 7938 for 89 euros! Go get one now :-)
  5. I totally agree with that! When I was a kid there was no money for a 7740 :( But earlier this year I found one for only 150 euros and bought it! It's just so much better than a replica with substitute pieces...
  6. I've got the clear bands. With full batteries everything runs fine, but it looses grip when the batteries become less powerful :( Haven't noticed a difference in traction between the clear and grey bands, but it will make an interesting experiment for tonight!
  7. I combined two sets (used the second sets PF to convert a 7740), you can build a third passenger car from the front and rear car. One motor is strong enough to pull it all.
