  1. I'm holding out for boxed versions. Curious to see what brand it is. There seem to be a lot of new ones popping up lately.
  2. That's a good plan. We ought to start designing stuff and plastering it over Flickr. Maybe we'll see some obscure characters get made!
  3. You can buy the Iron Man lab set for £14 and that's 500 pieces, so this is very pricey at the moment.
  4. I've got Decool, SY and Lego Deadpool's and they're all good. Pic of the Decool one here: http://www.herobloks.co.uk/figures/Decool/445/Deadpool
  5. It would be great to see more comic versions of figures. We got Hawkeye, Antman and Rhino recently. I think it's pretty safe to say that once Lego have done an Ultimate/movie version there's little chance of a comic one following if the design is significantly different. I think we were lucky getting a comic Falcon. Scarlet Witch, Vision and Quicksilver definitely need doing. I still want a comic Electro too. I'm also waiting for an old school Nick Fury head. I've read far too many Sgt Fury comics for him to be anything other than white with a huge cigar. I'll confess to swapping Lego out with bootlegs for my son, especially caped figures. He spots them pretty well though. I saw some of the new sets yesterday in a toy shop. A quick bit of Maths showed the cost at about £12 per figure on most of them. And that's without accounting for repeat figures. Ouch.
  6. Slighly off-topic, but an interesting summary of Lego's status and profits. It shows that people buying clone brands isn't really denting their income and Lego is way overpriced http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-31621107
  7. My Young Justice Nightwing didn't even have a face.
  8. I've seen pictures of the bootleg X-men set before somewhere, but this is the first time I've seen it listed for sale. One of the auctions on aliexpress does say it's a pre-order.
  9. My son wants the figures too! I wonder whether this is something we are supposed to believe to protect the status quo. Lego are one of the biggest and most profitable toy brands in the world. I think they have a lot more negotiating power than you could imagine! Minimates manage it...
  10. And also read the 105 previous pages. This thread does need a new title though. Of the people who only buy Lego and collect minifigures, what do you do with all the sets? I can't believe anyone has the space to build every set and display it. I ran out of shelf space for this is 1998. That's the appeal to me of the bootleg figure waves. If Lego did something similar I would be interested. A quick look at their website shows keyrings for £2.99, so they could sell figures for this price if they wanted rather than making figure collectors pay £10-15 per figure in sets. Any other 'action figure' toys sell figures and playsets separately.
  11. Wasn't there a separate thread for bootleg sets split of from this one a while back? Shouldn't the above post have been merged with that?
  12. None of the brands discussed on this thread are out to rip people off with fake products. Several companies have different connection methods for the hips, different shape arms and legs and none have the words Lego stamped on every part. The whole issue of copying designs is a whole legal/moral grey area, but you shouldn't be able to buy one of these clones brands by mistake and not know it.
  13. I cancelled mine and ordered the sets separately. Since shipping's normally free there's no point ordering batches.
  14. As mentioned earlier, SY262 isn't out yet. Post from China is never particularly quick, but in this case there's actually a good reason. Although the seller should have sent the other two sets separately.
  15. So far the Decool superhero sets I've found number from 7101 to 7107 - a search on Aliepress will give you all the details. They all seem to be copies of smaller Lego sets. Nothing big that I'm aware of.
  16. I've often wondered how long some of these sets will hang around.
  17. I wouldn't bet on it. I got a tracking number number straight away, but it has never worked. The people that now seem to have working numbers ordered the 16 SY figures. I ordered the Iron Man wave too (which seems to still be awaiting release). There's no way these were sent and got lost a month ago. Did anyone else order the Iron Man set from Super Blocks? I applaud your faith in human nature, but feel it's a little misguided this time!
  18. I think that Iron Man set is what's holding up my Ant Man wave and why I never received anything from Super Blocks, while others did.
  19. Nice set. I'm in the UK, but nowhere near me ever seemed to sell these, which was odd as every shop going stocked the Kreo Transformers. I still regret not picking up the Mega Bloks USS Entreprise when that came out.
  20. Got my Galactus/Hawkeye wave come today. Not the set from Super Blocks, but from ShaiBaoJieJie that I ordered 3 weeks after. Impressed that they flat packed the boxes. I wish more sellers would do that.
  21. Same here. I've just opened a dispute.
  22. Looks nice but really highlights Lego's horrible marketing policy and why a lot of us are here. $349 apparently (I dread to think how much here in the UK) for a mini scale set and then they include exclusive normal size minfigures that really have no connection to the rest of the set since they're completely the wrong scale. I bet Decool and SY will love this. More stupidly expensive Lego figures to bootleg.
  23. They need to scale it up to the same size as the Lego clocks. A set with big Galactus, Silver Surfer and The Watcher would be pretty cool.
  24. All my other recent orders are slowly tracking. I've ordered these sets from other sellers (as I wanted boxed sets too), so it'll be interesting to see which arrives first. It's most likely a case that the seller didn't have stock but wanted to be first to list, so faked the tracking numbers to stall for time. We'll all probably get new tracking numbers soon, blamed on China Post. There's no point trying to sell and not post as Aliexpress will just refund the money. I don't even think sellers get paid until an order is confirmed received or time runs out.
