Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Ritz Brick replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree with fallenangel, I don't believe that UCS means a very large set with lots of pieces and lots of details (but usually they do). UCS models are just for collecting, you could take any model you have a say "Oh, this is my UCS X-Wing, I collect it and it's ultimate". I think TLC just puts UCS on a box and makes it all epic looking just to sell it more in my opinion. So back to Masked Builders question. Yes, to me, my Millennium (did I get that right?) Falcon seems (correct me if I'm wrong) minifig scale, enough room in the cockpit and a lot of the proportions to the migs are correct such as the boarding ramp and the turrets on the top and bottom. My question is though, are some of the UCS models in scale with eachother? Example; X-Wing to AT-ST, Y-Wing to Interceptor. -
Great MOC, just out of curiosity, has this ship only been seen in ANH when Luke is flying it around his room or was it in some other segment?

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

That isn't a great reply either. This is a forum, a lot of old threads have been getting brought back up. But on topic, my biggest set is my UCS Falcon. Nuff said -
I think a lot of these sets are great (-Millennium_ , just some of the minifigs seem way to overdone, almost to the point they don't seem like minifigures anymore. Speaking of the MF, I see some round pieces behind the cockpit, I don't think I've seen those before.

It was either him or captain rex. As soon as I saw bossk's head. This immediately came to mind.

I have that same book. I agree, had it been a clear sky, that shot would be better than it already is.

Blegh, I like most other people were probably so excited for this advent calendar. Seems like not much thought was put into the minis. looking at Yoda's backpack, it seems like maybe a new mould, it goes to far up to be the open one.
-
This is just amazing. But what I think is off is the top of the cockpit should be a bit lower down, and the whole part a bit longer. Seems a bit stubby to me. Those are just minor things though. Does it have landing gear?

Midi ISD was great for plates, some places might still be selling them.
-
I still can't see anyway that the plates will stay down when the ship is flipped. Unless those flying binocular pieces have something to do with it.

Hmm, I bet thats what the ewoks saw when they went chasing after one. This is great none the less. Really bright with lots of detailing on the legs.

Inspired by Praiter Yed "Is it me, or is it a little Stormy out there?" "Put Captain Solo into the cargo hold"

thanks Emperor, seems ok to be posted here. This still is making me not want to get the ship. I wonder why in the cartoon the cockpit is on the other side, oh well. and ew...flick fires on a big blocky technic support.

I agree with fallenangel, I'd rather have the advent calender have 24 windows and each window contains parts to build something midi-scale at the very end. IMO Gunray seems like an afterthought and was just thrown in

I counted all mine here it goes Purple- 2/2 with bubbles Green- 6/8 with bubbles Blue- 7/9 with bubbles Red -1/5 with bubbles I'm pretty sure the bubbles are random, but most of my really old lightsabers had bubbles.

So what do your extra lights do?

or this. Is it just me or do some of you hope that Obi Wan on the box for the podracers is just a prelim? It's been bugging me as to why he would be there.

I got the new Luke head and new Han head in my 6212. -
I'm going to assume these technic beams in question are going to be for the podracers. That only makes sense to me.

Poll: what Battle Scene would you like to see next?
Ritz Brick replied to Sir von Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
How about the Battle of Mygeeto. Lots of ruined buildings. Large vehicles to build. and you could even wait for the upcoming Ki-Adi -
My turn to make fun of Luminara's new goggles. Note:I'm not making fun of the blind in any way, shape or form "Master, I think the enemy is this way"

This one doesn't need a caption. Sorry about the shadows. but anyway, nice one Cloney, I guess the same thing could go for the Star Corps Trooper in the CTT.

I was just thinking that seeing as how we got a new Captain Rex, and soon a new Commander Cody that Fox will be re-released sometime as well. The Frigate seems like the most likely possibility. This may seem a bit far off but with Yoda being in the set, it would make sense for Thire, Jek and Rys. Knowning TLG they wouldn't release three named clones in one set, but instead maybe have a regular clone and then commander Fox just labelled as Thire.
