I'm kinda confused though because didn't the solid stud heads run till 1992? I'm looking at the Blacktron 2 minifigs without the jet packs and they were made 1991 - 1993 but I see people selling with solid stud head so i'm kinda confused a bit.

so the fire fighters I have are from the 80's and 90s they're not the ones from the vintage selection with swapped heads? Just thought it was odd how one was solid stud and they other wasn't.

Hello everybody I have some minifigures that I need some verification with. I would like to know if my space and fire minifigs are indeed from the 80's and 90's and not reissued. I know Toys R Us had a vintage minifig collection and I just wanted to be sure this that these aren't the vintage ones and passed off as 80's and 90's minifigs. I got some of these a year ago from Bricklink and Ebay. With the fire fighter ones I think the vintage set the coat buttons are more yellow than gold but hard to tell. I know one has a solid stud head and the other doesn't I have a few others (Not pictured) that do not have the solid stud head I don't even know when they stopped making that. I checked out even that Zombie minifigure and i'm finding it for $35 it's crazy lol

I guess it is what it is and I'll just have to deal with paying that price. Just crazy how expensive some of them get.

Why is the Circus clown and many other Series minifigures $25 yet other Series minifigs are $3-4?. Asides from collecting some vintage stuff I have thought about collecting the Series 1-11 as well but was just curious why certain ones seem over priced.

I ordered 3 minifigs the past few days and all of which should be here by Saturday so I am excited. This brick link site seems interesting I just feel like you're closing your eyes and reaching into a bag and grabbing the unknown only because I noticed people post stock photos. Yeah I am thinking about collecting some classic town minifigs and ones like those and maybe a few star wars still not too sure exactly what though lol definitely classic space though. That's actually a very good idea I see them in my big Lego minifigure book

Thanks for that important info I will stay away from the ones without visors that I see online. Because I have seen quite a few pop up with no visors on then that are supposed to have them.

I wonder what the chances of me finding an original are :-/
