  1. Wait, so I've seen some of the smaller SW sets, and it says "multi-stud shooter". I got how it looks like (six tubes) and how it may work, but what exactly does it mean for the SW world? And for the rest of the LEGO world?
  2. I admit, I would have said it far, far, earlier. And minus the article reference.Judging from the well-designed cockpit and headlights, this'll be a pretty large set. And with Le Mans rising in popularity, I think it's high time for LEGO to make an LMP1 car. Though, green/black/white. Dyson Racing? Or recolored Rebellion Racing? Oh, sorry, sir. My excitement must have went up unchecked. Ehhh... but yeah, I've seen them.
  3. lego.gizmodo.com has an article about the sets. The Long-Distance Racer is a 2012/13/14-spec LMP1 model, much like the Audi R18 e-tron quattro. There are also two pullback-powered sets. They're part of a 121-set mega-rumor that's setting off hype/party alarms on reddit. And I've seen the watermarked boxes. Don't worry, though, my mind has been wiped.
  4. Some more to go, but it's close!
  5. Just find a basketball court and they'll be fine. Also, I should have done another thread related to this.
  6. OK, so the helpful stuff: The stuff at the back of F1 cars are diffusers for rear airflow. Then the good stuff: Glorious printed pieces (on the F138 nose, 512S cockpit--which surprised me!, and front ends and roofs of the F12 and 250 GTO), Pull back motors, a 250GTO-specific front end, and some soon-to-be-sought-after wheels from the F138 and 512S (and I mean SOUGHT-AFTER) Then the bad stuff: I would have reversed the connections on the 250 GTO's rear, I've checked the real F138, and that clip receiver piece is out of place, the F12B has minimal details, I feel that the 512S is something raphy or SSSW can build, and, NO STATS IN PULLBACK PERFORMANCE?! Personally, if I'd review this, i would be damnedly biased because I'm a tifosi (Ferrari fan), but i can say that LEGO and Ferrari did an even better job for the cars in Series 2. Stickers are a non-issue for me. If you're disgusted, deal with it. 3/4 of the cars here are race cars, and stickers are understandable. Seriously, my dad can only afford to buy one car, and my target is just the F138, but hell yeah I'd get these. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also want to see which car goes the farthest, given that they're powered with the same pullback piece. Series 1 had the 250 SWB model as the fastest one. I wonder, though: There's just four cars here. If you were to add another two, what will it be? My picks are any of the Ferrari Challenge cars (preferably the 430) and either the Ferrari 158 or 312T.
  7. You betcha. Or you could go to southeast asia and rent a car, empty the tank, and then buy one or more if you badly want it.
  8. It's got a shorter roofline than the original roof piece.
  9. If you look closely at the 250 GTO set, you can see that the hood (bonnet) piece is unlike anything LEGO has built before, from Cars Movie to this promo's series 1--its an all-new part. Here's the link for the promo. It's got a 360 view of the 4 cars: http://www.shell.com...collection.html
  10. You'd get it summer next year, I assume. Shell starts putting these up in ASEAN during the holidays and move west.
  11. I'm gonna wait until this hits the Philippines (from past Shell-Ferrari promos, they start in ASEAN and move north-west from there) somewhere in October-December, but I WANT THAT F138 AND THE 512!!! Also, I'm thinking that the 250 GTO's front is a new mold (oohh.) The F12, though, too studded. My father (rides 135cc motorcycle) is gonna get a pain in the butt for this.
  12. If only we can actually do this with real concrete and steel.
  13. Reviewing a set that you designed... I wanna do it, too.
  14. Those wheels. I want it. NOW! Seriously though, this is a tastefully done MINI. Too bad it'll be EXPENSIVE here in the Philippines (if it ever comes).
