Star Wars EBay Find Too Good to Be True?
star wars geek replied to KDog's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
@KDog Hey I saw that listing lol! I was soo close to buying it but did not end up doing so (clearly) I have recently "purchased" a death star on Ebay..... around the same amount... this is putting doubt in me that anything will come from that. Where was yours from? Mine is supposedly from Stockholm, Sweden -
The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy
star wars geek replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I would like to apply to the Reviewers Academy. I have many sets that are waiting to get rebuilt and this would only add purpose to rebuilding them. I also have a few unopened sets. :) -

@Lobot I’m not expecting much from this but we shall see where it goes. Is there a pinned topic for scams such as that somewhere? Congradulations on your 2000th post by the way lol! I usually visit for news regarding new sets but i never actually sign in, its been a pleasure reading what you have to say :) -
Has anyone made a brick built Iron Man figure? I have been thinking of making a purple Iron Man for a while but I wanted to see if anyone has tried this before? If so, what were some of the challenges you have faced?

@Lobot Thank you very much for the warning and I will do as such!!! I have been reading around on the UCS Tie Fighter as well and thats exactly why I’m thinking I should get it soon. The Slave 1 is most likely a holiday buy for me, should i make a topic once all my evidence is gathered to see what comes of this buy? Yes indeed, something that hasn’t been seen since Cloud City Boba right? :) -
What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
star wars geek replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
original sandcrawler sealed and the microfighter ghost :) 283 cdn and 30 cdn -
correct me if I am wrong so you are trying to build a Motorized AT AT with the limited parts you specified? If so, I understand you are not interested in power functions but the instructions of the motorized AT AT might be able to help you. You can draw ideas from it and see if you can come up with different solutions with your pieces to produce the same walking function it has. I'm not too familiar with NXT but there must be a way to replicate the functions of the AT AT with your pieces :)

Ouuu that sounds interesting! I did not know that! I knew that slave Leia would never be made again but not about her. Regarding the Ebay listing I agree but, you never know! May as well try it and maybe it will make a good story to tell on here. Are there any sets in particular that you think are must haves for a collection @That Orange Thing and @GrahamSlam I may as well post my Brickset page eyh? https://brickset.com/sets/ownedby-mnko237 The only set that I have not added is the old Sandcrawler which I am waiting for to arrive. -

I'm definitely going to buy them all but its more a question of when hahaha. I feel like it would be smarter to get the older ones now and newer ones later :) I already have the snowspeeder and the UCS Slave 1 is on its way in my list of sets to buy as well :) I'm understanding that both of you are not particular fans of the U Wing but it seems like an interesting set, besides the cargo bay was it okay? I'm in most sets for both minifigs and ships, Im planning on collecting a lot of sets and doing a bunch of unboxing videos on youtube eventually. Speaking of which..... I'm not sure if this is real but what are your opinions, I bought it because of the low price but well see what comes in the mail lol If its fake, it will be sent right back :) -

What to buy first? Jabba's Palace 9516 or the UCS Tie Fighter and U-Wing? I also just go the original sandcrawler sealed and was wondering if that was a good choice of set to buy for around 210 USD shipping included. -
