Finally Saw the TS3 set today. There were 2 different sized bags the set came in. The smaller bag I bought rang up 3.99, but earlier I had scanned the bigger bag and it was 2.99, so I went back and got the 2.99 one and took it up fron to get my dollar back. So all of you out there if there is 2 sized bags take them to the scanners and check the prices for them.

oine of my bags wasn't sealed and the parts were all over the place. I was scared something would be missing. Thanks for the links Sig. I looked in the "Liscensed thread index" for a review but there were none listed.

Picked up this set at TRU today on sale(and with my free $20 gift card from Call of Duty ) and it came with 2 parts that were never called for in the instructions and not in the part inventory at the back of the booklet: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=85489a only they are red. What the "F" are they for? I know all sets have extra pieces, but they are usually pieces that are used in the sets. Can anyone shed any light?

I was there again today and the bin with the World Racer boats had a tag that said "SW/TS lego 3.99" the bin with the x-wings said lego assortment 2.99. Kinda odd. Still no Toy Story sets tho.

Im almost positive it was 2.99...I know the x-wing was.

It looks kinda like a Hot WHeel package. a plastic bubble on cardboard. i"ll take a pic next time I'm at target.

Saw some new bagged sets in the christmas stuff today, world racers speed boat and an X-Wing. Also saw the Bullseye dog hanging on an endcap with teh giftcards in the toy section.

I personally dont care much for the guardian sets, but the shadow snapper is sweet as hell. the serpend that comes with the undersea explorer is wicked too.

I picked up the Undersea Explorer and HQ at traget in the last few wekks with the sale. Both are absolutely fantastic! Just gotta get the neptune carrier and I;ll be done til the new stuff!

Yeah, Aldi in Europe isn't quite the same as aldi in US. from what I hear they are more like Wal Mart over there.

pretty mucu no chance for me to find out. I'm not significant enough to have access to that info. These legos aren't gonna be permanent by any means. It's just "special buy" stuff for the holidays. He get lots of toys in for christmas. Once they're gone...theyre gone. GOnna have some sort of Wii bundle that same week for $249.99

I'm an Assistant at Aldi in the US and saturday we got our ad and signs for the special purchase items for the first week of novermber and we are getting several Lego sets. Off the top of my head i can remember: Star Wars Freeco Speeder Atlantis deep sea striker - $14.99 a Kingdoms set for $14.99 I think a City set for $29.99 I believe(some sort of fire vehicle) Star Wars SNowtrooper Battle packs for 9.99 Might be a few more, but I can't remember. If anyone wants specifics I can find out the next time I work. These sets will be out on 10-31 or 11-3 depending on what day that division puts thier stuff out.

That mini sub is available here in the US at Target, I'd like to get that pirhanna though.

well hell. Looking now it is the instructions. WHat I did was a google search for that set and it came up and the title is "Lego Power Miner Set 8958 "Granite Grinder" from 2009", so yes, i assumed it was the set. I just called and left a message and am gonna email them too. I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet so I hope it isn't too late. Thanks for the heads up guys.

well Target had the Cave Crusher on thier website for a while, but I want to call some lego stores to see if they had that, the boulder blaster and granite grinder. Called about 15 stores and nuthin at any of em. Went to order it from targets site and I guess they sold through them :-( Ended up getting on on ebay tho for $49 plus shipping. Got the granite grinder from bricktrainshop.com for $3.80 plus shipping($8 and change total!), so now I just gotta find me a Boulder Blaster...
