I was just replying to a comment made about these exclusive sets. How is that being out of line? Am I not allowed give my opinion?

100% agree. This exclusive crap needs to stop. Legos sets and polybags should be availalbe to buy everywhere in shops. It's not faIr to the rest of us who can't get these sets as we live in different nations or different continents.

Well in Ireland the VAT is 23% for toys with Ireland being Europe's fastest growing economy at the moment. I contacted Smyths about the prices of the new Star Wars lego sets being different compared to other EU countries in my local shop and I was told they'd get back to me.

I'm seeing if I can do that now and there's nothing wrong with being a socialist especially if the people in charge don't listen to the will of the people or do nothing in response to recent gangland violence which has left 7 dead so far in Dublin.

Well the price in Germany should be the same price here in Ireland, both nations use the Euro so prices should be the same in all EU nations who use the Euro otherwise what's the point of a single currency for EU member states.

Well the new lego sets are available to buy in my local Smyths shop in Dublin and the sets I want are ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. The Eclipse Fighter set is being sold for 45 euro And the Rebel A wing vs TIE Advanced is being sold for 110 euro. Here's what the prices should be. Agreed. The sets should be cheaper in Europe or if anyone get exclusive lego sets it should be shops based in Europe, not in America.

They won't be available to buy in Irish shops until June 1st at the very least. No info on when exactly the new lego sets will be available to buy in my local area.

That is probably what'll happen with the Rogue One sets sadly. I'd imagine that images and news of the sets will be on the net in the next few weeks at the earliest.

No they'd only have to sell products they are advertised to sell ie if a toy shop sells toys, they are required to sell toys, not pies, if someone wants a certain toy that is available to buy but not in stock at that shop is required to get that toy for the customer by special order. I used that to get DVD's available to buy my local shops didn't have yet their websites had them available to buy.

Just got the Star Wars TIE Advanced Prototype set in my local Smyths shop on sale for 47.50 Euro down from 50 for my nephew's upcoming birthday.

I don't remember which part but if a product is not discontinued than a shop in Ireland is legally required to get a product in if a customer demands it, plus under Irish consumer law, if a product is faulty the consumer is protected under the Three R's and entitled to a 1) Refund, 2) Replacement or 3) Repair.

I simply prefer getting my products in shops. Frankly I shouldn't have to shop online and I won't unless I have no other choice, shops should have a product if a customer demands it, that's in Irish law under Consumer law.

I prefer to buy lego in shops. I don't like shopping online at all.

This set better be available to buy in Smyths in Ireland. I hate that some sets are exclusive as that'll just tick off people like me who want sets like this to be available to buy everywhere.

I got 2 Imperial Troop Transport sets which were on sale for a low price in my local shop.

The prices are higher in Euros. i agree they're getting too pricey for people in Europe and Asia.

Just heard several TFA lego sets are being sold in a few shops in Canada from a friend who got a few of the sets. Lucky him.

That's on my list of sets to get after I get the Falcon.

I tell ya my local shop better have the MF set there to sell when I go there on Friday morning or I'll flip my lid.
