"It's a fair point, Annie, particularly in the weapons department. But assuming they don't come to shore, and we don't get a chance to stop them? At the very least, we should errect some sort of defenses. If we get a chance to directly stop them, I'm all for it, but what do you propose? "Well, I don't think we have any reason to stick around... just gimmie a sec to look around." Warlen inspects the area for clues with his Magnifying Glass, then digs around with his shovel.

Warlen grinned. An odd sensation for him as of late, a real grin, but not an unpleasant one.

"Neigh."

"We found a Shrine that was immune to immunity to magic, and a grumpy woman. How'd you do?"

"What, no, he's not worth as much as two bones and a potion, or whatever it was Avalanche put in..." *slips away* "Fools! They will never know what treasure they would have received by donating I, Warlen, god of donations! Mua ha ha ha!" *cracka-thoom* Disclaimer: The above may or may not be canonical.

With a last annoyed look at the shrine, Warlen too heads to the Docks.

I've just not had much to say!

Warlen looks in surprise at the temple. "Hold on a mo, Avalanche..." Rummaging around in his backpack, he pulls out a Scroll of Antimagic. Then, he casts it on the paper, and indicates to Avalanche to try again.

"Yeah, sure. I've got no plans in this town, for now at least."

Warlen looked out from the alleyway where he'd seen something move (probably a cat), and wondered wher Avalanche was. Deciding that he probably entered the bakery, he almost goes inside, before noticing Avalanche's distinctively yeti silhouette, and running after him. As he ran, he considered what an odd place this was, with its human billboards, and angry store owners. In another place, another life, another time, such a place might exist, yet larger, and with a stupid name, like the Big Apple. Warlen would not live there.

Warlen follows behind him.
