I think Binky pulled off a Greg answer. They are all canon - You know why? Because they are all in the story! They all have relation to each other because they are the most iconic characters over the years. -ZotS

It's pretty obvious what they are doing. BIONICLE was started in 2000 in Europe, and they are staying true to that release date. Therefore, these characters are the 10th anniversary re-releases; The best of the characters from 2001-2009. That explains the "Stars" label and the characters used. I am guessing the actual 2010 characters will show up in the Summer, for the movie so there aren't an overwhelming amount of characters. So... I don't mind these at all. Tahu is AWESOME. He stays completley true to his original form, and the mask is very nostalgic. This really reminds me of Tahu, just better looking. Takanuva is okay. I wish there was some gold, but silver works. Good to see a re-release mask. Skrall is meh. Looks like a mini version of this years, which is fine. Colours are a bit weird. Gresh is sweet. Again, it looks mini in a good way. If they are doing small sets for the 10th anniversary, I wonder what the canister sets are... -ZotS (By the way, this post was pretty much all copy-paste from BZP )

Well, if it is 12 small sets, I'll kill myself, because canister sets are a hella lot better. -GRESHIOS

So, the tenth anniversary rumors were true. I am guessing we are getting these "Stars" for the beggining to celebrate 10 years, while the summer sets focus on the 5th movie and Mata Nui's quest. By the way, I also think Ackar, Kiina, and Mata Nui will not be re-released, and instead 2010 summer characters will be new or just the villains they face. Would be like 2003. And the new sets are... weird. Small sets? What? TAHU?! Oh well, not too big of a difference for him, seeing as Mata Tahu is pretty much the same size as an Agori. -GRESHIOS

Great looking movie! That trailer got me hyped again. -ZotS

For those who want to see the trailer, here it is. This makes the movie look even better! I like the action sequences, and Vastus vs Tarix looks great! They even have their Thornax launchers! The Sandray Canyon scene with Skopio and the Atakus' look-alike Bone Hunters looks more action packed too, and Tuma vs Mata Nui seems to occur in the Roxtus arena. Also, you can see more of the elemental powers Kiina and Ackar MAY have. Gresh doesn't seem to do much here, but from what I can tell, he is definantly a main cast member. Regardless from what we've already seen, this trailer makes the movie look like it has some extrodanairy action scenes. Also, the Bone Hunters get owned. :P Same with Vastus... :( Anyways, this trailer makes the movie look amazing-sauce, and makes me more excited than ever. -ZotS

That... was amazing. The artwork is great! Very nice art on the new creatures, and the ocean looked very good! I liked this artist. If he drew the 2007 comic arc, it would be 100000000000 times better. Also, the best thing was the spotlight on such a minor character. Felt good to see him in more action. -ZotS
