  1. I got him back in September, the only place I could find him was at a LEGO store. No BIONICLE sets for ol' Trionx this year. I got some neat games though.
  2. Aren't Bet10 pieces compatible? Or are you saying something else I'm not getting?
  3. Could be the same thing LEGO did last year where they had an old launcher as a placeholder. I doesn't really matter to me. If it fires well, and has an interesting design I'm sold. Just don't ask me about those f**king squids... EDIT: Uh, yes?
  4. It's a lot easier then saying "two ancient heroes and one new hero" Can we stop criticizing every little detail that LEGO messes up? It's not like they're actually referring to Gresh as an "old" hero in the story.
  5. You don't happen to have better photos do you? Please?
  6. Something that I pointed out on the BIONICLE 2010 topic... Just throwing it out there.
  7. Darth Teridax
  8. Looks to me like a green Av-Matoran head.
  9. Exo-force 2, like I said. It doesn't sound like there's going to be any system in this theme, but it doesn't look like they'll be any creepy heads. Brrr....
  10. I noticed that- I'm sure it's not but that would be a weird place for Inika Jaller to show up.
  11. I actually have to give you a point there- I didn't really read the names that carefully and they do sound really dumb. (The ones with human names anyway) Hang on. I just realized something. Does anyone remember that Greg has said that several movie companies wanted to do BIONICLE films with human kids and they said LEGO didn't want to do that? And now we have BIONICLE-like sets that have human kid-sounding names...
  12. I couldn't HANDLE another story as deep or complex as BIONICLE. I wonder if LEGO will try anyway....
  13. I was commenting on the fact that it sounded like they would have "Pilots" of some sort. Guess I was the only one who thought that. I have a really big question- why is everyone suddenly complaining about every damn thing LEGO does in the buildable action figures area BEFORE WE EVEN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. The names are stupid yes- TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT. Wait until we get the story (if there is one) or even until the sets are out in store before we attack every little thing about it. We know nothing except these microscopic photos and the names, I mean, wait until we KNOW more stuff about it... God....
  14. Exo-Force 2 lol. They seem to look promising, we'll have to wait until we get better pics of course...
  15. The thing I'm finding odd is that everyone is complaining about the comics NOW. They've been like this for the past few years, its nothing new. If you think these comics are bad, look at the ones from '08. They had as much background to them as this year, but they really didn't explain it at all. (Not to mention they hardly showed some of the sets. I think they made a big deal of Icarax going to Karda Nui in the second issue, but all they had him do was SAY what he was going to do and we never saw him again. )
  16. I should also point out that they got out of the robot at the end of the second movie. I also need to keep pointing out that the comics are hardly ever story-accurate, their primary focus is to display the new sets. The good news is that those new graphic novels will focus more on the story, so those will will be better for us. And really, what other ways could Takanuva have come out? he can't very well climb down the robot from Metru Nui.
  17. I liked it a lot, I was actually surprised how much they were able to fit in considering that the NEXT ISSUE IS THE LAST BIONICLE COMIC. And I hardly look at the comics for their story accuracy. You have to remember that most kids only have read the last issue, not the web serials or books.
  18. Don't forget, uh, this thing called THE KARDAS DRAGON? I would buy a line of those.
  19. Of course it's crap if you list it like that. :P But we also hardly have any info beyond the VERY BASIC PLOT. It's like looking at Star Wars and complaining because all that happens in it is: *Evil Empire builds superweapon. *Farm boy is suddenly involved in the fight. *Boy discovers he's the only one who can destroy it. *Boy destroys superweapon while main villain flies of into space. If you look at it like that, it seems really stupid. Of course it became one of the most well-known films in history. EDIT: Here's a better way of explaining it: You're looking at the basic outline for the year. You can look at ANY story this way and it'll look really boring. Wait until we get into the story before judging it.
  20. Teridax. That's all I have to say.
  21. Heh. I'd still like to see a set of that.
  22. Regardless of what promotional images show, Teridax is still in control of the MU.
  23. Is that a new photo? I didn't even think that BIONICLE was popular enough to appear in Times Square. Much less a poster that only hard-core fans are going to understand.
  24. Great idea! I don't know if I have any room for it, but I'll still get it the second it comes out. I don't recall if GeekDad (Wired.com blog my mom posts on) has any connections at LEGO, but if they do I'll be sure to point them towards this topic.
  25. That's quite literately the second thing I thought after seeing this news. I have to say though, that I will still pick up more sets here and there. (Can't wait to see this "flexible" line, sounds somewhat interesting.)
