  1. I'd guessed they were probably excess production from some other toy line. I suppose that means they don't have any compatibility with Lego. The yellow Gryphon in the Prison Island set looks really good, but that set seems to be the hardest one to find.
  2. Yeah, polyglue doesn't work as well on plastic that's either too soft or too hard (another former Warhammer nerd here). The best one I've found is the Revell Contacta Professional with the long metal applicator, especially for small parts like this.
  3. Hello everyone, I'm a wargamer (my forum name is that of my Dwarf general) who was about to buy character models for the tabletop roleplaying group I'm running, and then decided to use minifigs instead. So that's what made me an AFOL. I'm now building up a fair-sized collection so I can make the monsters and battlemaps with Lego as well. I'm on a tight budget and not averse to using parts from compatible/clone brands, so you might see a couple of clone reviews from me at some point.
  4. Just in case you still cared, I found the webpage for the owner of the Toyrific brand: http://www.wiltonbradley.com/section.php?xSec=184 Looking at the large photos of the new Space sets, the components and manufacturing quality look like they're from the same factory as current Best-Lock, but as the Castle and Pirate sets use rendered box images, I can't tell if they're the same or not. I've found the Green Dragon set for £9 including postage, and like you I'm very tempted to pick it up for the minifig accessories (it also looks like it has some unusual coloured bricks).
