Just remember that they said they are making 8 sets in '08, 4 for the first three movies and 4 for IJ4. I guess we're already speculating about 2009. *wacko*

Here is an addition to the Tusken Raider attack: The Jundland Wastes Explore the Jundland Wastes on your landspeeder, or drop by old Ben's hut to learn the ways of the force! Includes Luke, 3PO, R2, Obi-wan, landspeeder, and Obi-wan's hut. Ordnance: hunting rifle, for Luke, blaster(short), and lightsaber. Here's a crazy set: Rogue Squadron Take on the Empire with Rogue Squadron! Includes Rogues 1, 2, 3, and 4, Luke, Dak Ralter, Zev Senesca, Kit Valent, Wedge Antilles, Wes Janson, Derek 'Hobbie' Klivian, and Kesin Ommis. Blasters for everyone, a lightsaber for Luke, and thermal dets all around.

The next thing for Minas Tirith that would perfect it would be a Mordor catapult, and maybe Gothmog. Or the skull-head. Then a breakable wall. Otherwise, it looks superb. Just remember about Legolas: Before Lothlorien, he had a short bow. After, he got a longbow. So don't give him a long bow in Moria, but anywhere after FotR is ok. And longbow or none, Legolas' accuracy never fails. *y*

Brickshelf FIND: Really Impressive Dragon
trooperdavinfelth replied to Starwars4J's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
LET'S HEAR IT FOR SMAUG! WOOHOO! Simply amazing. The wings? Pure talent. The head? Pure genius. The neck and underbelly? Sheer AMAZINGNESS! The whole diorama? Perfect. It gives the medieval look to it. *y* *y* *y* *y* *y* *y* *y* *y* *y* *y* -
Exactly my opinion. If they make Veers and a pilot or two with a worthy garrison of troops in the back, I might go for it. I will be sad if certain points of accuracy are sacrificed for motorization. Oh, and KD, the non-motorized AT-AT had a pilot, 4 snowies, a speeder bike, and Luke. Crazy good. That's why I got that one.

Well, I will first answer andrex: You have the UCS Hailfire droid, right? Put a lego SBD next to it. Watch the movie when the hailfires were coming forward and some droids were clearly there. Now put a 3 3/4 in. SW figure(anything if ya don't have an SBD) or any 3 3/4 in. figure. I'm just saying that that Hailfire droid was about 3 3/4 in. And I hope the new one won't be some cheap bricky thing. :-X Although I'll be impressed if they can make it with the Tie Crawler treads. Now I will answer Sinner and Klaus Dieter: 1st of all, I have all of the first 07 sets, i.e., the 06 07s. :-| If you do, you should have no problem in laying out your money for the new ones. For those of you who don't have all of the 06 07s and the 07 07s are out, hold off on the 07 07s, only because they will be there a while. Of course, you should keep an eye on them. Try and remember how many there were so you can see if they start dissapearing. Then you should grab it. Otherwise, go for the 06 07s because with luck, not as many people are buying them and more people are saving up for the new ones. Which gives you a chance to get the 06 07s and tally your money into piles so you will be ahead of the game. Good Luck!

I like! AAT is always welcome. Btw, the trade fed cruiser is the Invisible Hand. If you mean Grievous's ship. SPHA-T: YEAH, BABY! That's right, more clones in phase 1 armor! Woohoo! *ahem* Good, good, good.

I am curious to know two things about these sets: What IS the reality of the stormie drop ship, and what pilot will the AT-PT have? Otherwise, lego knows how to make my day!

I heartily agree, xwy! A Bounty hunter battle pack would be a yes. Let's see, Aurra Sing, Zam Wesall, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, 4-LOM, Greedo, Zuckuss, and IG-88. It may be far-fetched, but these aren't: IG-2000 Join IG-88 in his modified Trilon Assault Fighter! Scour the galaxy for IG-88's next bounty with the IG-2000! Includes IG-88 with a long and a short rifle, as he did indeed have a Pulse Cannon and a Neural Inhibitor shaped like a stormtrooper rifle. Ship features: Ion cannon and two Arakyd blaster cannons. The Punishing One Help Dengar and Manaroo save Boba from the clutches of the Sarlacc and escape on Dengar's Corellian Punishing One! Includes Dengar, Manaroo, Sarlacced Boba, Sarlacc, and two blasters. Ship features: Quad blaster turret, ion cannon, and a Proton torp launcher. The Mist Hunter Fly across the universe in the Mist Hunter with 4-LOM and Zuckuss! Capture an enemy with the 'Hunter's tractor beam. Includes Zuckuss, 4-LOM, and a long+short rifle. Ship features: 1 tractor beam projector and 2 assault laser cannons. The Hound's Tooth Nothing can stop this Trandoshan once he's in his trusty Corellian Bulk Freighter! Will Bossk need a quick escape? Fly away on his scout ship, the Nashtah Pup. Includes Bossk, droid brain, blaster, and mortar launcher(hopefully). Ship Features: Retractable quad laser turret, Ion cannon, concussion missile launcher, prison, and med bay. Whattya think?

Err, I see no 'Dunechaser'. Anyways, for Legolas and Frodo, I meant yours. For Arwen and Elrond, I meant Aradhel's. ;-)
-
I think it's kinda cool. I like the robes-over-armor idea. Good work! Btw, do you know that you will be in LSW: The Complete Saga?

Mandalore: Oh-ho, this is going to be fun! Jedi Exile: I hear ya! Mandalore: For Clan Ordo! Jango: For Clan Fett! Mandalore: For Clan Fett! Jango: For Clan Fett! Announcer: Jango Wins!
-
I don't recall Legolas having such strong cheeks! Nor Frodo, either. And Arwen should have a better face. I mean, those eyes are waaaay too small. And Elrond's hair didn't really come around the neck all that much. It was less of a knot and more free. Like Malfoy's, only slightly shorter. Otherwise, ACE!

And I'd rather have the new castle than that one. It has a dragon, skeletons, lots of shiny silvery knights, an awesome king, and hopefully some nice catapults.
-
That's your best bet: If you can't buy it, build it. Happy B-day for both of you! X-D

It brings up my next query: What will the MTT's cost be on TRU? And will it be worth it now comparing the amazing articulation of the set?

Someone's gotten the Sith Infiltrator
trooperdavinfelth replied to Two-Faced Batman Fan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hmm, It looks to me that the figure is altogether too bright. In color, I mean. It looks shiny, almost Jedi-ee. But the original looks more dark, more Sith-ee. I think the Infiltrator follows the idea of Grievous's Starfighter. It's breakable, grey, streamlined, and has lots of big bricks that have lots of stud-free smoothness. -
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
trooperdavinfelth replied to UltraPrime's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Maybe they altered it so there are more named jedi whom you can find and switch to. 8-| I wonder if they altered it so much as to include the above rafters! And I wonder where all the bounty hunter areas would be. And what bounty hunters, if any, might we get besides Jango, Zam, and Aurra? -
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
trooperdavinfelth replied to UltraPrime's topic in Culture & Multimedia
This just in: A new minifig update from Wiki: (note that wiki is not to be trusted and I am not saying that this is totally true, although I hope ;-) ) 4 more characters playable: Jabba, Plo Koon, Agen Kolar, and Aayla Secura. That's all for now. *y* Plus, the 360 and the PS3 will have online play. The Wii will also have improved motion sensing character movement. -
He is the hero of the tv series '24'. Btw, I like your sig, too cap. tau. 24 OWNS!
-
So sad... Although now all that we have to remember him by is his wonderfully designed set. But what better way to remember someone by than by the successes of his life? My condolences to his family. *sad*

well actually it does. I'm sure you're familiar with the process of photosynthesis, and how they're necessary to maintain levels of oxygen in our atmosphere. Don't forget that they synthesize oxygen by taking in carbon dioxide to convert it to oxygen. And carbon dioxide is a large part of the greenhouse gasses that are talked about! So essentially they're air-purifiers Zounds! I forgot. :-P You were right, SW4J. But I still wonder at the rest.

Modified Republic Gunship on Brickshelf!
trooperdavinfelth replied to aayla-secura's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Errr, it seems to say 1436 posts. Anyways, it is a superb design, but poor coloring. I like the missile cartridge and the takeapartability. Good find! -
Sith Starfighter and Vader
trooperdavinfelth replied to Vader's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Can't say enough about it other than that IT OWNS! I love the Vader fig, but the starfigher is, well, AMAZING! Good work, and may the force be with you! Btw, you should make more Sith stuff. Like Revan or Malak. Or Nihilus or Traya. Or Sion or Bandon. Oh any one. ;-) -
I haven't the time to listen to this, but I might listen later, so here are my views on global warming: It isn't man's fault. It's out there, but it isn't our fault. No matter how many hybrids, green shopping bags, or green this, green that, it won't affect global warming. There was a time when the people who lived in England could grow crops on green grass and fresh lawns. But since then nature has been cooling off. Now it's warming up! Mr. Mandalorian, how does fishing heat the atmosphere? How does cutting down trees heat the atmosphere? (not that I like the idea of cutting em' all down) Sure, pollution poisons the air. Pollution is wrong. But it doesen't cause global warming! Al Gore is just using a slight rise in temperature to get people to listen to him so they will believe him so he can run for president without having a snowball's chance in hell. So to speak. Now for my summary: Global warming is out there. We can't stop it, we didn't make it, we shouldn't try to stop it.
