Ultimate Star Wars Minifig Challenge
trooperdavinfelth replied to captaintau's topic in LEGO Star Wars
One comment on PN's comment: Nautolans do not have lekku; lekku are only found on Twi'leks, and on them, it houses a part of their brain. So grabbing a Twi'lek forcefully by the lekku will more often than not incapacitate him. But every Nautolan has 14 head-tails; they are used to detect the thoughts of others, and are best used underwater; hence Master Fisto's undersea effectiveness exploited in the Clone Wars animated series. The Jawa would fry Anakin's saber with his electric gun, and then Anakin would Force Push him against the wall and do whatever an unarmed Jedi would do to a Jawa he has to kill. -
Not bad! I can see that armor on a real person, like the gold plates and the round shield-like centerpiece. It certainly is creative, either in Lego or not! Good find!

Ultimate Star Wars Minifig Challenge
trooperdavinfelth replied to captaintau's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Lando = spacedust. Kit could say: 'Go space your self'. And then he'd laugh as Lando shot himself in the face. But in reality, I think Kit would win only because Lando hasn't proven himself to be a true Jedi killer in any canon source that I am aware of. So the Nautolan Master offs Skreej. -
List of 2008 sets (January)

Hmm, Rebel Scout speeder. I sense EU. Possibly the speeder from Battlefront 1 in Rhen Var? Actually, that's just a rehash of the Gian Speeder. I am interested... *y* -
Which is better, Star TREK or Star WARS?
trooperdavinfelth replied to vahkimetru's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I voted SW because I saw it first. :-P Plus, there is more fighting. Then again, Star Trek isn't really a 'travel to planets and wipe them out' mission. I guess I'm just a fan of battle! The right kind of battle, mind you! X-D -
Beg pardon? I don't remember such threads, nor do I surf through pages of old threads because I have no where to post, and to be honest, I see playability in that the legs move, and a few of these would make for a good stop-motion film. I see little playability in the rest of it, as the only real minifig-compatible section is the cockpit. Which will, as I stated before, make my mind up. However, I think this is a good partner to the Hoth base. Grab that set with this one, and you will have 4 rebs, 5 snowies, a snowspeeder gunner, a turret, a cavern entrance, and an AT-AT. 2 Lukes not withstanding. :-| I understand TLC's need for a hero here and there, but everywhere?
-
What with the comparison, I think the new one is, well, same as anyone else who dislikes it. The legs are too far out, the cannons are too long, and there's an engine brick on the chin. Plus, the flat top makes it look too bulky for some reason. It looks more like a brick. All things considered, the new one has nothing to speak of. (until I see the cockpit interior)
-
Well, this is indeed what I expected. The driver looks like a poor cross between the AT-ST pilot and Veers, if not in entirety the AT-ST pilot. Anyways, it's a good way to get four neat figs, although more snowies would not be unhealthy. I guess there's no room to room them in the hull. The AT-AT pilot is cool as ever, and since I got the 2nd AT-AT and the first, although the first isn't really a first, I won't be getting this one. However, if the pilot is unique I will see about getting him. Otherwise, I like it but to be honest, it shadows a lot of the first one.

Query: Shouldn't this be in ths Star Wars forum? (not that I know) Anyhow, isn't it kind of wierd that the pilot torsos are all blue? It was only a section, if I remember correctly... And yes, the new arms are great, except on skeletons. *skull* *n*
-
I think a RBR would be one of the last things they would do, only because of the molds for the helmets, the new heads, and the spacing. But then again, the AT-ST helmet wasn't that hard!

I am impressed! You really did a great job there! I don't suppose some sandpaper would be a bad idea, eh? X-D -
Why Star Wars minifig MOCers need Castle Set 7093
trooperdavinfelth replied to jp-30's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Cool stuff! I was looking at the set, and I thought to myself: Those electric bricks have grips! YEAH! Btw, do you think this is a forerunner of a possible playset with the Emperor and the entire throne room? -
OHHHHHHHHHH!!! Nice! I like the whole 'corruption' thing, because you never really see Vader corrupt a Jedi in full. I hope it's good!
-
Sounds awesome! 1 comment, though: I thought Vader's apprentice was to be included! It is his ship, and I don't think he would be restrained as per game-not-released because we have already seen him here. Anyways, I hope to see more Force Unleashed sets, at least with the cool new stormtroopers.

Wow. Can't say I'm not impressed. I DO however agree that O'Reilly and Geraldo are morons. I do not watch Keith Olberbeit, as he gives out the most moronous people and issues. I watch Screwball with Screwballl. a.k.a., Hardball with Chris Matthews, because his wide mouth and his stupid liberal commentators make me laugh. Also because when he claims he has a 'balanced' table he just has 2 libs and 2 fake Republicans. I love Brit Hume; his show is like the truth come true, especially the funny part at the end! You should make one with Bill Clinton! And don't make this a what-tv-talk-show-is-better topic. Actually, a big one with the Cantina would be good, just make the patrons U.S. senators!

Yeah, TLC has made a bunch of great sets demonstrating their articulation in such things, but they need to demonstrate their artic' with the big stuff, and making it fit minfigs! At least 1 Royal starship is due by 2011!

Good point there! An X-wing would be an absolute last-resort. A Y-wing? Too soon. A B-wing? Probably not much they can do more than a new model. An A-wing? Same as B-wing. Snowspeeder? They already have one in the Hoth Base, but as for an individual set, crazy! I wish for a Tie Defender, as they were used in Epi. 6. Colonel Jendon and Captain Yorr piloted two of em' in Onyx Squadron during the Battle of Endor. The two also flew Vader's shuttle. A good EU set would be a V-wing, I.E., from Rogue Squadron. But enough speccing, here's a query to DJ: Are there any new molds whatsoever? Except from the Rogue Shadow, of course, which will probably have em' for Vader and the Apprentice, although the latter will probably have a hood. Is that right?
-
Wow! That's amazing! I was sorta hoping they'd throw it down on the ground and see all the pieces splay everywhere then clear the screen. Great video nevertheless!
-
It'd be awesome! Although they would have to do some serious damage to Vader's helmet! I can see a new torso, possibly but not probably new legs, and of course a slightly blasted-away helmet.

:-| How's this for breaking news? Like I didn't know that? Half way down page 2, you would see THIS: I ain't that short sighted, and I at least gave a warning there!
