So big w parkmore had hardly any stock, specifically I was going for the creator plane set at $48. Karingal on the other hand had them (and the house) up the wazoo. Filling out shelf space of other sets that sold out, all over the capping... Really weird.

Ay indication that target will have the a wing cheaper than myer? Got Coles myer gift cards and the sale + myer one discount is the cheapest I've seen it. Trying to work out what else to get with the left over 120ish, I was originally going to get clothes but have since discovered myer seem to now exclusively stock stupidly expensive brands that all manufacture in china.

I was wondering when it would happen. Got a bigbuys outlet at a new homemakers centre nearish to me and they used to have some CMFs and lego keychains/other accessories but no sets. Looks like it might be worth ducking in again in a couple of weeks.

There was an SSD in bigw southland when I visited on sunday. But they had their wire security device on it and had ripped part of the box. I wasn't going to get one anyway, but why they would expect anyone to fork out 500 dollars for something that's already damaged I'll never understand. (coming from a former woolworths employee who resented being told to throw out perfectly good apples that had surface blemishes because "customers wouldn't want them,")

Got an email from paypal with a 15 dollar off coupon for shopping on toys r us, except it doesn't seem to work. The code is meant to be toys$15, apparently it isn't case sensitive but always tells me it isn't valid. You have to spend over 50, i've got 55 worth of lego in the cart but no luck. :\ edit: has to be used via TRU's checkout, not the express paypal one.

In the herald sun today a big W ad stated 30% off selected lego as a preboxing day sale. Stopped by a store on the way home, no marking on the shelves and I didn't feel like carrying every set I was interested in back and forth to a scanner. Does anyone know more?

That's a pretty dorky thing to do. It's already confirmed as a mistake. If you walked into the store ignorant of this forum I might understand. I used to work in retail. While there is a responsibility on the company/management's part to makre sure the shelf prices correspond to the computer's, mistakes happen and you get pretty tired of having to deal with people "demanding" they get a few dollars off. You could at least sound more polite about it. And people wonder why retail is full of teens with a perceived "bad attitude." Not to mention the online store is a different department to retail, and I'm sure legally speaking they're entirely seperate - so good luck with that little stunt.

Are there anyalien conquest tripods left in targets in melbourne? Only made it to 2 today, but they were sold out of the tripod and smallest set, plenty of choppers and UFOs (but I don't recall seeing the mobile base)

Does anyone have a list of items at TRU that have decent prices before the 20% offer this weekend? Wondering if I should bother to pick anything up if i'm already planning on getting a few more things from target.

With my staff discount it is. Pity I don't want the ctt, cad bane's a good fig but I'll wait for his speeder. some SP3 sets may still be on BigW shelves btw. Found 4 of the truck chases on friday, staff had previously told me they had none left in that store, and that they were not receiving any more shipments. (The line is on clearance, so any SP3 set is a real bargain at bigW atm)

Targets in my area (SE Melb) have been fairly well stocked for the toy sale. I'm holding out now in the hope that the new SW sets will show up discounted, otherwise I've been impressed with their range. New powerminers, world racers, nearly all the SP3 sets etc. That and nerf guns. :)
