  1. Just came back from holiday. First I read the news of the Statue of Liberty being featured in minifigs series six and now I read about this upcoming LEGO DC/Marvel line.... I never would've dared to dream this was coming! I couldn't be a happier camper! LEGO, you rock more than ever! :D
  2. Thanks for the help, Brickdoctor! :) I really appreciate it ;)
  3. Hi everyone, I've been planning for quite a while now to build a LEGO microscale version of my favourite childhood themepark ... Problem is that the themepark has pretty tricky to build attractions(or rather 'had' since I'm planning to build the park how it was in the early nineties and most of those attractions are gone now.) Here are a few pictures of the more challenging to build attractions: First of all is a 'Jumbo Jet' type rollercoaster: And another rollercoaster with the typical corkscrews and the likes: Oh- and of course there's a ferris wheel :) There's loads of other challenges, but I don't want to wear out my welcome... ;) SO... If anyone has tried something like this before or if anyone has some tips or building techniques- I would really appreciate it... It'd really help me out... (PS: I've got loads of other referenbce pictures if you want :) )
  4. That's just awesome! Congrats! :D
  5. Truly great news! I'd heard about the LEGO PotC video game first and knew LEGO wouldn't make a game without there being actual toy sets... Haha- Eat that, Mega Bloks! Your PotC stuff SUCKED! :p Now if only LEGO would do a Marvel line (also a Disney property now), I'd be a REALLY happy camper :D
  6. I didn't know that... Thanks for the info and the link, Aanchir! ;)
  7. Wow, happy to see the rumors were true and thay ARE bringing out a Diagon Alley set. Still, it's kind of a strange choice to make a Diagon Alley set and include a Knockturn alley shop. I wish they would've kept Knockturn Alley as a seperate future set so this Diagon Alley set could've had another store from... well, Diagon Alley. Now we only get ONE actual Diagon Alley store. Oh well. Can't win 'em all... :)
  8. Hey, as long as it's developed by Traveller's Tales, I'm having faith in it! They've never let us down so far! :)

LOL! That was pretty cool! Well done! :D
  10. Thanks for the review! I share the opinion of many othes here: I too prefer the old 2002 set's corner building... Maybe TLC will start to see a pattern here ;) Anyway, the new minigures look better this time 'round. Can't win 'em all, I guess... ;) Thanks again for the review! Keep 'em comin'!
  11. - Does anyone know why the HUD's studcount is sometimes divided between the two players and sometimes joined? I don't remember noticing that in the other LEGO games...
  12. Oh, I see... I didn't know that. Most interesting... Now I'm REALLY keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for the info, Sirius! I sure dang hope so!
  13. You're right about the surprise Star wars sets... Forgot about those... I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
  14. You're right. It's just a bit confusing... So like you said, two Ginny's will be released, one in 4840 and one in 4841. What I don't get is, if the mystery fig turns out to be someone else, what would be the point? In which set will it be released? I really doubt that LEGO has been planning an extra, unannounced set for us... I also doubt that the mystery fig will be a sneek peek to a figure from a wave II set. What the mystery fig's concerned, I'm sure they'll 'pull a Ginny' on us!
  15. Oh, you're gonna use the first Ginny, I see... Anyway, I was just kidding 'round... Quite a long wait isn't it? ;)
  16. You guys start to seem eager to get an extra Ginny figure... Don't be disappointed if the mystery fig turns out to be someone else now! ("It's Tonks! Aaargh, shoot!") :p
  17. Agreed, it would be a very odd and anti-climactic move from TLC if they would 'pull a Ginny' on us... On the other hand, I'm really beginning to doubt that the mystery figure would be a new character that would be included in an unannounced set... Such extra set is just a rumor, isn't it... Oh well, we'll know soon enough. I hope...
  18. Hehe, you're right. I'm sure there are already loads of guides online. Still, a actual book would be cool to have handy while you're playing the game.Plus, Prima guides are very nicey done with cool artwork and stuff. Oh well. Online guides will nicely do the trick, if needed. (Still curious about the reason why LEGO HP is the first game not to be guided by Prima though)
  19. Agreed, the games are plain simple. Until you want to find every single secret to finish the game 100% that is. It might've been easy in previous LEGO titles, but it sure ain't easy in this one. You could search for hours for the last fragment of an Hogwarts emblem without a guide.
  20. You have a point there... I sure hope you're right! ;)
  21. Mr. McGow is right... Scratch Cho, Ollivander, Fleur, Tonks or JK... I can't believe how stupid I've been... I've had the new LEGO catalogue for a few weeks now... She's right there in the list of characters, along with the figures of set 4841 (The Hogwarts Express): There goes my theory of the mystery figure's hair looking visibly shorter than Ginny's... Oh well... Better luck with the Deathly Hallows Part II wave, I guess...
  22. I contacted 'Prima Games' (publisher of all the LEGO game guides) to ask if they had a guide for LEGO Harry Potter in the works and apparently no such guide is planned... I wonder what happened... They've made every single LEGO game guide till LEGO Indiana Jones 2... Anyway, it's really too bad. Such a guide would really be welcome, wouldn't it? ;)
  23. Of course this is serious! -laugh track- Maybe the mystery figure is either Stan or Ollivander... Get it? Stan and Olli-vander? -laugh track- Siriusly, I totally forgot about Fleur and Tonks! Good guess, Forresto! Now that I think of it, it must be one of those! Either one would be GREAT! :D
  24. Hope that'll count for European TRU's too, Sirius! TO FRANCE! :) Anyway, I don't think the last mistery figure will be Ginny. If you look closely, the mistery figure's hair on the left side is shorter compared to Ginny's hair. It seems to ends at the height of the shoulders while Ginny's hair ends... well, lower. ;) The mystery figure seems to be holding a wand though... I wonder which other wandwielding wizard has long hair. Cho? Ollivander? :p
  25. Oh, I see... Thanks for the help, buddy! ;)
