  1. There's a donation link way at the bottom of the download page. ;) I've been mulling over how to do very large lists. UCS, Modulars and the like are some of the more common things I hear people using Brickficiency for, and it rarely works first try or without some coaxing. That checkbox is a great idea. I'm definitely going to include that. The minimum threshold idea is also good, but has the potential to drive calculation times way up. I've already heard from lots of people stories of calculations taking multiple days on large lists. I have some vacation time coming in July/August and may sit down then to try to work on this stuff. Between work, shows and my bricklink store I don't have very much time for anything else these days. :)
  2. The SQLCE download link still works for me. I don't know if you realize I have to pay to host this free program.
  3. It's possible, but not realistic. Every store page would have to be crawled, which would take quite a long time. I don't submit a lot of Bricklink orders, so I usually check if the store has anything interesting after I've added what was on my wanted list. There are very few stores that have ridiculous minimums, but when I find one I just blacklist it and run my report again. If you have a very large list, there is an expandable section that will let you copy a wanted list XML that can be uploaded to a Bricklink Wanted list. For smaller lists, I usually just click the item picture which links directly to the item for sale in the listed store.
  4. I just built a new shelf for my Bricklink parts with my dad. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. Here are some pics: http://imgur.com/a/BQ5h3
  5. The report is an HTML file. you'll have to associate html files with a web browser. Why does eurobricks decide to unfollow posts after a couple months? :/
  6. Also, if you are still having problems importing a wanted list from bricklink (ie. colours are showing as "Not Applicable", or items not showing up at all) please pm me C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\Brickficiency\debug\Debug-import.txt (preferrably after trying to import with 0.95.4. I plan to nail this down next, although I'm still quite strapped for time lately.
  7. Just uploaded 0.95.4. It fixes an issue causing it to crash while downloading the latest update. You'll still require Microsoft SQL runtime if you have not already installed it. Brickficiency can be downloaded here: http://www.buildingoutloud.com/bf/Brickficiency-095-4.zip Microsoft SQL runtime can be downloaded here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17876
  8. The only way to be sure is to click on an item in the report and compare the item price. If you log in while calculating it will show your local currency for sure (although I think the dollar sign may be hard coded).
  9. Can anyone still having trouble with 0.95.3 try installing the SQLCE runtime from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17876 Let me know how it goes.
  10. Did you make sure the two folders, x86 and amd64, are extracted with the exe?
  11. This probably means it can't download the database. Make sure the two folders, x86 and amd64 are extracted to the same folder with the exe.
  12. New version: 0.95.3 Just a minor update to make it download the database from dedicated hosting rather than from google drive. http://www.buildingoutloud.com/bf/Brickficiency-095-3.zip That usually happens if the Bricklink part ID's don't line up with the database. I'll need to put a friendlier error on this, but the only way to fix it is to do a database update. Damn. I will see about fixing this in the next version. :)
  13. Yeah, leaving it at 10 will show the top 10 cheapest ways to buy your list. if you set it to 1000, it'll show you 1000 different ways to buy all of your parts, assuming there are 1000 different ways
  14. Ok, well it looks like there are no major issues, so I've updated the website. Download link (this is the same one I posted a couple days ago, no need to update if you have that one already). New in 0.95.2 Fixed an issue in 0.95 where dependencies were not being included in the .exe. I want to keep Brickficiency as portable as possible, but for now there are a couple of folders containing DLL's that have to sit in the same folder as Brickficiency. I'll try to remedy this in the future. New in 0.95 - Proper Database, more list creation options There is now a proper database that is automatically updated. It can also be manually updated from the tools menu. Can now manually change item id numbers or double clicking on the item name brings up a change item box Can now create new lists and add parts to a new/existing list (although there is a display bug in the add item dialog) Placing the mouse cursor over a picture of an item will show a larger version of that picture. Double clicking will show an even larger image (the colour may not be accurate on the double clicked image) Selecting a single item will show which sets that item is in, and the quantities it contains. Can now (mostly) import an LDD file, thanks to rebrickable.com! If any items are skipped, the item information (item ID, colour, quantity) will be shown in the message window. If you can figure out which part it is from the lego ID, you can still add it manually. Can now export a list to a bricklink wanted list. Fixed an issue while importing wanted lists when there is no sublists.
  15. Ok, I think I'm ready to release the next version (0.95.2). Download link: https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B6HH_wCQ4odGNzgzRWVzN2MxcnM There's two extra folders that have to sit in the same spot as brickficiency.exe. I tried to make everything pack into the exe, but I've been unable to do so so far. Let me know if this version works better if you'd previously tried 0.95 and it did not work (or if you just want to see the new version :P ).
  16. AppData\Roaming\Brickficiency\debug\Debug-priceguide.txt My webhost likes blocking people indiscriminately. :P if you send me your IP, I'll submit a ticket. Can you PM me your AppData\Roaming\Brickficiency\debug\Debug-priceguide.txt ?
  17. Nope, it's an import only. The next release has an export to wanted list feature, though.
  18. This issue is finally fixed in the next release. I finally tracked down this issue as happening to any item with brackets in the name. :) Not sure when the next release will be finished. I'm still working on some broken dependancies.
  19. I'm going to put a note up on the site in a while, but 0.95 is broken. There is a requirement that is not bundled with the exe. I'll have to include the required file, but it's going to take a while to get that done. For now, please use verion 0.94.
  20. Are you at work? it doesn't seem to do anything for me on my work computer. I believe it has something to do with redirected profile folders in windows, but I have not had time to look into it.
  21. Can you download the test version here: https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B6HH_wCQ4odGLTFKT0NrcnlTWTA I think it should pop up an error instead of just hanging now. if you can send me a screenshot of that it may help. Also, if anyone has downloaded 0.95 before this very moment, you should do a database update (under the tools menu). The database was horribly out of date, but I just updated it this morning.
  22. Do you guys have more than 1000 items on your wanted lists? You can check at this URL: http://www.bricklink.com/wantedDetail.asp?viewFrom=wantedSearch&wantedSize=1000 (it'll say "xxxx items found" up at the top)
  23. Decorated parts are not differentiated in any way, it only searches using the item ID. Make sure your Bricklink database is up to date (Tools > Update Database). Make sure the part is showing up Reddish brown in the list (that's the only colour it's available in). Also make sure you're searching in a country that has one for sale. It's quite rare and only available in a few countries.
