It is done. :o Yes, I have completed my build of the falcon. I won't post a huge review as Im sure you have all seen a few but I would just like to say... The mini figs overall are great. Han and Leia look much better then I had thought, chewie looks good by himself but very... how can I say it.. muddy? when compared to the old brown. I got a clonie torso with the snowtrooper so I have emailed Lego and hope to get a reply soon. And C3P0 is a nice addition as usual. The ship. Hmmm... well I have no old falcon to compare to but I think this one looks better. The colors are good and work well together, the ship does have the junky sorta put together look as it should. I love the way the cockpit connects to the the rest of the ship well. The opening and closing mechanism is a good idea, better than having to lift the whole lid off like on the old one but there are too many gaps and it looks strange whn they are all open, like a flower. The escape pod is great and airtight!! :lol: And as for the orange thing... well, its.. ermm.. interesting but what is it??? the engine or the hyperdrive?? :huh: Oh well, overall its a great set and well worth the money!!! BUY IT!! is what I would say :D Jon.

Hmm.. I couldn't seem to find the thread in which we were discussing the legend set so i started a new one. Well, here it is - http://news.lugnet.com/lego/announce/?n=57. It was posted on FBTB yesterday. From what I have read this has come as quite a shock to most people. The set, Model Team Hot Rod, was released only 9 years ago in 1995. I would have thought that a set from the 80's or earlier in the 90's would have been chosen. Oh well, at least we know now. What are your thoughts?? Jon.

Yes, I agree. $1500 is incredibly stupid to me! I was only 1/3 right about the price as I said $500. I am sure for about $500 or under you could make a sail barge as good or better than that one. And I would sure prefer 10 falcons/AT-AT than the 400+ or so bricks in that custom. (n) Jon.

Wow! That sure is alot to take in. I'm not sure about some of it though. The universal colors, they are now going to be left? But what about the other colors, are they going to go changing all these to?? And in reference to the train tracks and baseplates. Will these be produced in the "universal" colors. Yay! I have only just seen the pics of the new world city sets. That plane looks awesome, I would like to see some interior pics though.
