I got this yesterday and watched it last night. I found it much more fun to watch now than it was in the cinema 6 months ago. I really enjoyed the battle at Pelanor field but I found the ending(s) annoying this time. I haven't watched the extras yet but I hope to tonight. And I can't wait for the Extended edition in October/November! :D Jon.

WOW!! :o Spolier Warning for those who want one!! I saw this today and I was stunned by it. The effects were amazing and you really felt part of it because it was so realistic (well I thought so anyway). It mainly took place over America and there was little reference to the rest of the world, apart from the odd line about Europe being frozen and so.. The main action was the giant tornados and huge waves and flooding of New York. I felt so good at the end when you see people being saved from the tops of the building and I loved how it ended with a zoom out of the earth. Definately one to see for those who haven't! Jon.
