hey mate. look, i cant fix the hull without rebuilding the entire thing and that would mean that you would have to start again, savvy? no, seriously, towards the bow the ship is perfect, but the stern should only be about 6 to 8 studs narrower than the mid-section. so, what i think you should do is cut it in half, delete the stern apart from the keel and the rudder, and just make it wider. hope this helps or you could just keep going with what you've got

i am currently making the stern wider and ive done a mock up of the sides. have you also considered an interior below the gundecks? is the ship minifig scale?

hey all, time for an update. (sorry this is so late, i was bogged down with work :S) i have done work on the lower gundeck and i have a pretty good idea what rate ship she is: 5th rate frigate with 40 guns :) more updates to follow :)

ive got mlcad but it isnt working cos i cant find the base path, watever that is

They aren't LDD. There MCLAD designs. LDD is much diffrent and much less bricks too use. not as such anymore, joey. because of lego universe its upped the parts list to over 5000, and you can colour the bricks whatever colour you want. Also, Mlcad dosent seem to work for me. ive got all the stuff for it, but whenever i go to run the program, it comes up with this box saying: LDRAW base path invalid path(no parts or p dir found) can anybody help?

i recommend youll make it a galleon because you dont have to make the streamlined rear of the hull typical for later ships. thanks eddy:), but how do you make the rear more streamlined? and also, do you think that the first row of cannons should go a deck up or should i just put it in between the galley and the officers quarters(at the stern)on the bottom deck
