    Yes it was from sketches of deleted scenes. On topic it was mentioned somewhere there would be a sub theme could it be based on a show, avengers assemble, USM, hulk agents of smash or shield (I wish but it will never happen)

    I would love to see the planet on top of the building! but if you have a Daily Planet set you can't have it without Jimmy and some sort of phone booth transformation

    But he wears the glasses in the show and in alot of concept art he did as well. It was very inaccurate to the movie because he never looked like that but look at the concept art... These coments on minifig inaccuracy got me thinking when TLG people design the sets I think they only get to look at concept art. Think back to the Mandarin this is what we got... Here look at Hawkeye concept art...

    I was thinking the same thing too, like maybe Brainiac enlists Darkseid to help in conquer the Earth! The information about them teaming up was in multiple interviews

    I know that in Young Justice the kids would put on the helmet! Maybe the story has something to do with Young Justice because of the characters like Miss Martian and Superboy!
