Sandy, as heroes grow more powerful, and adapt and adjust to different aspects of battle, the enemies just stay the same. If you're not willing to start adapting and adjusting your enemies to fight heroesin a new way, battles WILL be too easy. There is nothing to do about it. Take Endgame for example - his bosses are Killer-level hard, and he hasn't needed to change any rules to make them difficult. He has adapted his enemies to go with the flow of the ever evolving heroes.

I'm finding myself agreeing to Flipz earlier suggestion - changing not other things but instead the counterstriking function - so instead of counterstriking with damage equal to level, the counterstrike will cause damage equal to the damage taken. I think this sounds much fairer than all other suggestions.

I agree with all that Zepher and Brickdoctor have said - I think the power should be left in the QM's hands to keep things balanced.

I think maybe we should just get rid of the counterstrike gloves, then all the problems are taken care of

The Marketplace Quest is rumored to be starting sometime in the October-November time frame, if I remember correctly it probably won't start until Elphaba checks in, which means that it won't start until Halloween or after. Although its guaranteed that there is Artisan rep in this quest, Sandy has never said anything about giving out the rep in other quests. So if the rep is something you definitely want, you should probably just wait patiently for the quest to appear in the hall. That's what I'm doing

I design loot before the quest, not dependent on the party (in most cases, as far as I remember).

Benji walks back into the hall. It was even quieter than before. He saw his friend Tarn and the witch so he walked over too them. "Hey fellows, how's it going with you guys? Still not on a quest it appears."

It looks great to see my quest's NPC's up there with the others! I encourage people to go and read up from all quests in the NPC thread, its very interesting (and you'll learn some secrets about my quest (not actually))!

He finds a dark alleyway and hides there for the meantime. Finding that he was not in sight of the hall any more, he slowly transformed back into his human form. His head hurt. His clothes were torn. Just hopefully that cat didn't follow him... Benji looks around and notices that - no cat! So he strides out of the alley which he was in, and starts wandering around the city, heading towards the docks.
