  1. That is truely an awesome bar! Possibly not the ideal shape that I'd want it in, however, the design on the floor gave me a great idea for later-detailing. =) Haha. I might even see if I can get clear bubble stickers to decorate the bar, to make it look like it's frozen, but with bubbling water on the inside. I saw that once at a club, and I always wondered how the water inside didn't freaze with the ice around it. Haha. Ice bars have always been an inspiration for me.
  2. That's truely an awesome gift. =) He'll love it. You should make a little minifig that looks just like him to put in the driver's seat. =) I love the detailing.
  3. Yea! I know! I remember having a ton of clear blocks when I was little, but nowadays (knowing that my old and better collection has been sold at many garage sales unfortunatly) it's hard to find any good pieces. I even went down to three different stores that sold legos and I couldn't even find a clear lego on the cover of the box. It's ridiculous. And yes, I hope it comes out how I want it in my mind. I saw an ice bar at my friend's wedding, and it was crazy-awesome. To be honest, her wedding was the inspiration for this new idea. Haha.
  4. Those are PERFECT! I haven't heard of Bricklink, but now I know! Just a question, how do you pay for things on there? Do you enter a card number? Or do you have to have paypal (because, I personally, HATE paypal) Lol. Thank you SO much for the suggestion, the blue ones are literally, perfect. Exactly what I had in mind. =) I hope I can order some, or at least, figure out how to order some.
  5. I'm from Florida, the oh-so-sunshining state. Haha. Hopefully I can get a chance to move up North to catch the cold winters, and not the tease of two-week-winters that we get here in Florida.
  6. I really need some advice with this club that I'm working on. I started building the walls and such of the club and then I realized that I don't have the appropriate lego peices to build the bar. I wanted an "ice bar" kind of look, with clear legos. I thought I had some, but not enough to build the dramtic, modern bar area that I wanted. Does anyone know of any place that I can order a bunch of clear legos? Or do I have to hunt them down in sets? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  7. LOVE the creative garden and seating area at the top. It's truely an addition to a must-have in a city set. You've deffinitely managed to put a new spin on the City Corner set. =) Nice job.
  8. I think you're best bet would be to purchase a car set. You can get a simple car and a minifig together for $5 tops. Not that bad, considering you'll have all of the pieces, a minifig to drive the car, and most of the car sets come with alternative building types, so if you wanted another kind of car, you have choices abroad. =) The cheapest car set I've seen was 3 dollars.

Ahaha! I just bought the SAME City Camper set for the same reason, for a bike. XD I'm excited to see the innovative ways to use it, and I will certainly keep your layout in mind. It's, as everyone else has mentioned, a perfect scale. =) I'm glad that the set is good, as well. I was iffy about purchasing it. And it wasn't available at any stores I knew of, so I had to order it online. =/ Another week to wait for me.
  10. Good Morning. =)

  11. Haha. I hope! When I get a break, which will be probably tomorrow morning, I'll hopefully have my camera up and running to share some of my creations. I love the City themes. I have many of the smaller City ones, however, I'm looking into buying a police department set, which will be a HUGE project for me, and deffinitely will last me quite a while. Idealy, I'd like to have one large disply table of a lego city. One day, it'll happen. :) What about the kind of sets that you're into? ~ Morgan
  12. So glad that I could find such a great site to gather such amazing Lego fans like me! I come from a small little town that isn't much into legos, unless you're under the age of five around here. I've always loved Legos, and I will still continue building and getting larger sets. As of now, I'm simply starting with my small sets. I used to simply buy cheap packs of legos and randomly build. The whole process of creating something was always a great past time for me. With a stressful lifestlye (college, work, responsiblities, ect.) I've found that Legos really have helped relax me during "my time" that I have rarely.
  13. WOW! That's amazing! Great job! I LOVE the MOC. The interrior is truely perfected.
