Barur asked for a pint of ale and took a big look around the fire lit hall. 'A awfull lot of mages' he wandered 'and some a bit darker than it is to be expected in the room of heroes...perhaps i shouldn´t have made such a bold entrance' But that was Barur, since childhood he was always been a little reckless.He had reasoning and if he took the time he was quiet wise for a dwarf of his age, he just choose not to use it. It was because of this he took the path of cleric trying to learn discipline and control his decisions better... 'Maibe i should make acquaintances' Barur thought.'Afterall i can not purge evil on my own.The question here is who shall i befriend' Taking another sip of is mug he looked better at the 'heroes' around him...the shadow mage was misterious,and looked a bit more powerfull than his novice look would show, too say the least and Barur let him be(for now...).At the other table there where the other two mages chatting lively joined by a rogue that spoke little. No other heroes could be seen, at least not sober enough, and Barur stroke his orange beard and took a minute...

The night was dark and moisty in Eubrick Freeport.Down the road came a hooded figure of strong but short stature riding a apparently small horse. At the towns gate the man inquired the guard for the fabled hall of heroes and strolled along. The Hall was laid empty,with the exception of a few talking by the fire and a couple who laid fast asleep from the booze. The mysterious rider open the doors of hall swiftly but without noise, and said with a thundering yet sooding voice "I am Barur of the Tormek clan,and came to heal this land of evil! Who will join me in this endeavour?" Looking at the empty questboard the dwarf frowns and sits down in a vacant table and waits

Great job here!I´ll definitely join this mighty bunch of heroes and heroines. Some questions first: I got my character ready but I do not have picture for it yet as my minifigures aren´t with me at the time. Can I still start? I wanna start right way in one of this first quests if possible. Also sign up for the quests ends Friday but when does the quest start? I´m going somewhere for the week and only return on Sunday. If not,I´ll sit around this time and wait till I have everything ready. About the game play,isn´t the experience/leveling up a bit fast?One battle one level...but you probably tested it so it works Anyway congratulations,I´m looking for to get into the action. Eheheh it does mean something... First just letting everyone know which side I am on Second it will be a project I have been conjuring up in my mind ( and it is not a comic). I plan to update this topic rather than creating a new one but, as it might take a while till some new stuff show up, feel free to delete the topic. I have finally chosen a side....

Mustang is very nice! I specially like the face. In the body the only thing that looks a bit off is the stars on the shoulders, they shouldn´t stand out this much I think, ranks on top of shoulder not directly in front so I wouldn´t put them. Perhaps if you make them smaller. Anyway terrific job how is the next?

They look awesome! Except maybe Ironman,what´s with is big head? they have time to change it. Some of them are pretty close to the custom minifigs around there,i wonder if TLC got some inspiration on some of them?

Very nice job there IronArtist, I have been planning some FMA minifigs myself (got a sketch of some in my brickshelf if you want to check)so this really appealed to me. I envision Al as a Hagrid type minifig cause is much larger, or even a normal minifig but with custom armour making him bigger. Nice to see someone with similar taste. Will you put them on real minifigs? Keep it up. Cheers

Apparently not even worth a comment so i´ll just ask questions. Anyone here uses Inkscape for your decals? if so ,what your workflow? cause I can´t figure out how to get the image from svg to a proper image file type without the loss in quality you see above. Can anyone help with this? Thanks a lot

After lurking around for a long in this part of the forum,I decided to finally get into customization and decals. For a first try I opted on a Collectable Minifigure, because every time I look for decals on them I can´t seem to find them. So here is the baseball player: I had some problems with the resolution of the image,I´ll try and solve that later...I was just really eager to share this first try I´m also eager for sugestions and criticism so i can improve Cheers mates,see you soon

So far far i think these sets are really cool! They are not out yet where i come from,but with the scan post here(thank you very much ),the .lxf file and a dice i tried it out and i like it,alot:) Does anyone have the scans for the other sets(forest and caves,and a better castle fortan)? Also as anyone tried to create their own layouts ? cause with ldd the community can definitely share new ,custom made adventures for heroica among each other. That is something i really look forward to

Nice versions,although I still think the overtanned color of the first suits perfectly. Do you think it could work if you made dark flesh decals/stickers for the legs and cover some light flesh ones(or any other leg for that matter?

Now that´s a way to start my morning they look really nice! I like the faces you used instead of the original in some of them,good job.Now we just need more hair pieces but even that didn´t look as bad as I would think. Too bad about the mage,I was curious about how that one would turn out. As for Brickquest/Heroquest, I not sure about the rules of heroquest cause I´ve never played it,this sort of games is extremely rare in my country and people to play them with even rarer. So I thought of using the brickquest ones. Now only I need is someone to play with. Actually as I write this, next to me in the desk are four minifigs adventures,three monsters and a chest full of coins and jewels i set aside yesterday to give a try at the mechanics today,but it´ll never be the same thing with out a full build dungeon. Keep them coming!

Me thinks he is just sad he´s not a Lego minifig Elf armies aren´t usually large in numbers anyway right?I´m dying to see them And about Milton´s game...It is curious that you mention that now,cause I spend the last couple of days looking at Brickquest and thinking about how can I update it. Brickquest is pretty much HeroQuest with minifigs(slightly simpler perhaps)but looks old and out of fashion. If you decide to work on something like that,and feel like co-operating you have my help fully at your disposal!

Where exactly is the mistake may I inquire? Oh is it the capitalization on the word 'guess'? And further analysis reveals that I should have used capital "I" in the middle of sentences.

Now that you mention,you´re probably right a gem is too precious to craft into to something that is meant to take a beating Also i think i understand why i thought the blue gems were off, in the official shield is green on green but the gem are the light green and scale are dark. in the blue shield the scales were lighter and that´s probably why... anyway the red ones suit perfectly. Also the eagle "faction" looks stuning After this ,and your conan design,i honestly do not know how to compliment you anymore i´ll just stick to comments and ideas from now on okay?
