Congratulations on getting Boba for Christmas ... I did too! My wife surprised me with this Maquette, though mine was #926 / 1500 I believe.

Read through and hadn't found this issue mentioned ... I'm having LDD crash to desktop when I expand any of the brick categories. I do not receive an error, only the Windows application has encountered an error and is closing, 'Send error report' dialog. This happened nearly every launch of 3.0.x and I recently updated to the latest and this issue continues to plague me. LDD seem to only work okay immediately after a reboot. Once I close the app and return to it later, the crashes begin. I'm running Windows XP, with more than enough proc and memory. I'm connected to the internet via cable and this doesn't coincide with any interruptions in service. Should I need to give the app any priority in the firewall routing? thanks in advance, I'd like to use LDD but this is a road block

Hi all, new to Eurobricks but of course not to LEGO. I'm a AFOL based in Des Moines, Iowa who has recently (~6 months now) begun growing my collection again in hopes to build something big like I wanted to when I was younger. I was very inspired by the creations that were sparked by the Cafe Corner / Grand Emporium style architecture and techniques. I love these techniques and the level of detail some builders capture, simply amazing work. I recently attended Brickworld 2010, my first LEGO event, with my wife who was also inspired to build something ... so we have a project in mind for display next year ... we'll see if we can get it done. High hopes. As far as I know there isn't a Central Iowa LUG ... So I may have to start one. If anyone on here is from the area, please feel free to message me! I'm eager to meet, learn, and build! Other background ... I'm in my 30's, a Software Engineer by trade (most years spent doing web based applications), very active in computer/console gaming and hobbyist game design/development, and have participated in some performance driving events ... Generally I collect hobbies.

Sup all ... new to Eurobricks (first post even) but not to LEGO, just out of my Dark Ages ;) I have pre-ordered and I'm all for joining / connecting in game with community members! I'll watch this thread for more info as we near the October release. If LU doesn't incorporate a guild system, we should at minimum post our Primary character names so we can build our in game friends list, which does exist.
