Brig. Brick replied to TheCrimsonTrooper's topic in Pirate MOCs
If I understand well, that nasty, you urine in public? ... and You tell me, on my ToR2 entry, that the redcoats have manners!, I don't think so.... And thank god that the pictures doesn't have smells... imagine what is the smell of many redcoats "fortress" -

thanks everyone!!! I take more pictures of the fort, just for see more details, would be an honor to share the desing of the crane That's what I try to do, getting the base first, and then try to consistently accommodate a fortress ... designs there are thousands, but the real need is accommodated with what nature gives us the final result is a lot action in a squezzed, but confortable place
-
jajaja I love the trap action!!! and why the redcoat is so happy after the action of the trap ... is because he don't understand what happend!!! :pir-laugh: :pir-laugh:

I apologize for having advance , but the base needed a MOC, and of course, I would like to see the MOC, and so we can make improvements and generate more ideas and about the pattern of gray ... My soldiers didn't have enough to buy white paint I'm sure there's lot for improvement, but thanks for your comment

Hi everyone! today I want to show a Moc that I been working some days ago first of all, I want to tell that, when the Lego stopped the pirate topic(1996) , I left the Lego ...till the last year ... so I found a lot of new topics, even many things that seemed not like lego () searching for.. I don't know what on ebay, I found this baseplate http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=44510pb03 for my, looks odd, but there is a great chance to built something and there it is: front view upper view left tower right tower back view secret door another secret door full interior we must have a jail ------------------------- ------------------------------ And now, the arrived of the carribean clipper p.d. I have to buy a spring for lower fee welcome aboard, lad! Hi! commander just a little to the rigth, come, come... Hurray! they are at home!!!! --------------------------------- ------------------------------- comments!, question?..... any you want!!!

mmm... green coats? Historically there wasn't a large imperial faction in a green uniform in waters where piracy was intense ... more accurately would be to create a browncoats, with brown tricornes and dark orange design, with the ships with a design of a kind of "Fluyt" , some kind of "west lego company" , I mean, a faction not so imperial, but bourgeois and in the same time, expand the Imperial Armada, with more powerfull galleons, because they are the faction that fought over (and suffered more) with piracy

this is my precious.... total amount = 3450 split in 10's coins = 51 20's coins = 28 30's coins = 62 40's coins = 13 plus 6 gold bullions (the center that unites the coins), but with no value here!!! I'll not count jewels... I use it as a bottle caps
-
nice first MOC, I don't feel well the type of palm tree (specially the gray color), but I like the scale of the monkey and the net about the feather , its playmobil I hope that is the last time I insert a playmobil!!! but remember... p.d. all credits to legojeff for the picture
-
I would like that in the new pirate scheme, if continues, it should brings the new bluecoats, but remember, the fact that the blue or red coats exist is to fight pirates (not between them), in Lego world, redcoat just still the battle that the bluecoats left, and the Armada do the same to the redcoats but you know, there is a need to set a battle between two (or more) powers, but what the Lego wants is not to create violence
-
thanks Big Cam, for your support!!! I forget to add the anchor mechanism, in fact, I have to destroy a part of the bow... , well, another excuse to rebuilt it ( )and in the same time, it shows a little better the interior p.d. the anchor is full funtional

thank for the idea, but I want tell you a secret... is the first use of the naval camuflage... I will try to aquire more brow-dark-black pieces, but by now, I can't afford it I'll keep in mind, thanks!!!

SMS is the correct indication, being used in the German Navy from 1871 to 1919, in 1870's, the ships began to be shielded, and start the use of steam, and the use of sails practically finished by the end of that century, but even in the middle of the WWI, many sailing ships were sunken by the firsts U-boats submarines but now, whit your MOC, very nice indeed!!, and the troops... like the amount of troops!!!

I think that it could be work, but beware, many of this pieces together could be the sensation of the hull from a modern ship (rigid ships, not rounded). in the imperial trading post (6277) they use only two (similar) pieces, and even there, I feel the sensation of an blocky and squared ship, but nice after all and by the way, if you use that color, prepare to find something like a PT boat from the WWII good luck and if built it, please show it!!!
-
you talk about fire? ... since I remember, the glorius "imperial soldier" a.k.a. bluecoats came first than the imitation of the redcoats. In the lego world, we set sail first!!!!!!!! :pir-laugh: great comic by the way... go, blues, go!!!

indeed, I have to buy a mop... and I have to force the captain and his crew to use it!!!

Hi everyone, and thanks for the comments well, lets begin... I would like to do something similar to the Caribbean Clipper, that in the stern has a mast, but no sail... otherwise, I'm made a lateen-sail ship, and I add another sail... but I can't move de mizzen mast to the front (because its the load chamber) but here we got the changes I just mix some old Lego's with some new acquisitions (the dark grey is diferent), but the colors I think that I give him sence (the bow and two lateral lines are blue too) Actually I only purchased the hull and the mast separately... from ebay, I really love the Lego's ships design, especially the 10210 (very detailed, and big one ), but they don't show any lateen sail. And about the question... I'm waiting for more money ( ) to still buying more lego pieces, so, of course, if I have the chance, I want make more ships If you see the new picture, I try to fix the the white railings (I was upset with them too), so, I try to put more stylized. And about the interior, there come the pictures.... 1. the capitan's room (with a little forniture), and of course, under the ship castle p.d.sorry for the picture, but otherwise, I have to destroy the castle to take a good picture (and i really don't want it) 2. the load chamber with the deck: and without the deck 3. and the chamber under the bow as you can see, Its a lot of room for treasures, goods and the contraband, two little canyons for a quick defense and large lateen sails for fast speed totally a privateer ship indeed (and you know for wich faction )

amazing work fine in all the details..., good use the admiral like a coin in the wishing well... and the cave, great!!!
-
[pid][/pid] 100d Pingue .- It was smaller ship than the Polacca and were used for the same tasks ( It was used for the transport of goods and war privateering). They had three masts (foremast and mizzen) with lateen sails, was the widest part of the hold and was close astern. Its name was derived from English pink. now the pictures!!!! all the ship bow... stern... questions, coments, details.... more pictures?.... anything you want

I got the pirates chess set... the 8 redcoats pawns haven't epaullets, and bring tricornes, not shako's. So, like in set 6274 (the caribbean clipper), the blue coats army make the diference between regular army and navy army... so I did it in the new red coats... I split the redcoat navy (with tricornes but without epaulettes, and backpacks) and a regular and full equiped land army (with shako, blue epaulette and the old backpack) in both sides, the navy army doesn't look good with shakos and epaulettes (not confortable with the ship tasks), and the regular army needs full equipment... so, for my, the new red army needs backpacks, and the red sailors needs another hat, better than the shako!!
