That is a very great ship you have built Captain Green Hair Bonaparte! I just so love when there is a reference picture as well. Nice to read a little of the story behind it as well. I think you captured the shape very good in this one. The rigging is very good as often when certain people are involved in it. I also think you captured the bent masts VERY good from the original one. Simply an awesome MOC!

Really interesting and clever use of bricks. Great design, looks like it really could have been Mr. Bobas Speeder. I would have loved it if he actually had one.

That new picture is so very good fenris! Just got to love the feeling in it. Your colours in the picture of C-3PO smokebelch is just awesome. It is so great to see how a common minifig can be put in the right light and focus and the outcome pretty much just blows your mind. Keep shooting us those pictures guys!

Just that is what also have been said before (of me for instance). There are always "new" people who discover the wonderfulness of the bricks combined with SW. Those persons most often will experiance just what you just said. For all those of you, plus all the kids out there today that wants an AT-AT, this sure is a great opportunity to get one. I will most definatley get one myself, even though I had four of the first one, and one motorized one. But also said before, I really hope that TLC will give us a kind of UCS version of this that will be between 200-250 $ (maybe even 300). But we will see about that. For now, I am really glad for all of you who are satisfied and exited with this version and never had the chance to get the privious ones.

Great to hear that superkalle! You have made me curious with your nice MOC´s I have seen, so I wonder what you cooked here. You are one of the Eventees I am not worried one second of that you will bring a MOC (at least one). You still have a few days to go Etzel, so keep twisting and turning those pieces. This might be the best Arabic inspired creation I have ever seen built in LEGO! A very beutiful design all together Svelte. I might even dare to say the best on you ever built so far. Very nice to see a picture from were you got the inspiration. There is so many nice details in your Gate. I have been in a few Arabic countrys, and this truley has a genuine feeling of actually beeing there. Personally I have no intension to MOC anything in an Arabic design. But this creation makes me thinking of it anyway. Simply, Bravo Svelte!!

@ Legoman: That is all cool. I know all of when you will arrive and departure. There is not much more that you will need to know of as now. There was a reservation fee. I have taken care of this, and everyone will pay at arrival. So we are all good now.

Exactley superkalle. That is why I was sooo nervous that anyone really would take this serious. It lasted longer than I thought though. This will still be the most awesome Event for EB so far. Who cares if the design don´t match with the Gunship? The result of your printouts looks really great What type of printer do you use? Is it an ordinary printer used at home?

I really think those will still be available some time for sure. Seems to be gazillion of those in stores still. Think they will be fairly cheap on BL as well.

Yes I am sorry that this is true. We got half of our rooms cancelled. If that was the only problem we could just find other accommodations. The only ones I so far can find is 25 km outside of Billund. Sadly this is not all. The plans that was made for the Thursday is not happening either. The guy that was going to do those things with us had to leave for something else during this time that is more important. Then for all of us that have the Merlin passes will not anymore be valid in the park. So the question is, shall we still do this at the set dates? What is everybodys thoughts? Instead of the best Event so far in our history, this is going to be the worst one. We still is the best group and I am sure that we wll have a great time regardless. IMPORTANT! Due to some events the last two days we will not be able to do the Event on the dates that is planned. We need to redo the whole thing and move it to May or June. I just had to lift up Mutleys great comparison picture ones more. As you say it is really to bad that the 4483 is in the old grey colours. The yellow and blue colours inside is however very easy to replace. I do this with all SW sets I build directley from the start to day. With bricks and plates and technic pins and what not. Also today when I do buy a new set that is a redesign I use to use the previous model/models that I liked the best and judge the new set from that. To me the first one (4483) is by far the best version. I never bash down on a set before I have seen it properly. But this version by its first look is just not doing it for me. It looks like they have tryed to cut down to much on how much this set can cost. I don´t know how you can determind how this third version is sturdier than the first version by just looking at the picture? Why I do think people is bashing this set is because we all had our hopes up to get a better version than the first, and also a slightly bigger one. This ideas was pretty much groveled when we found out what the set might cost to us. I am not continuing bashing on this set, I just thought you had some really good arguments that would be good to get into some more discussion. Future74 is having some ideas about improvements of the new AT-AT. I really hope you will get this set quickly when it comes out, and do these modifications and show them to us. Your observations sounds really interesting. I will for sure end up with one of these since I have hard to resist on new sets. But I will not get three that was my plan if the set would have been a 50-100 $ more than it is today.
