Really enjoyed your pictures and the backstory. Saw it at Brickvention on the Sunday, but was unable to get a good view due to the large crowds. Really good to see more of the elfish village which I couldn't get any photos of.

Minifigures Series 8 Guessing Game
KnightSnap replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
How about letting us play mastermind with you, where you can give a score to each of those who have contributed guesses about how many are right or half right. Then we can keep guessing till someone gets them all right. -
A noble man on his way to his winter palace.

Its a great MOC, and the carriage looks deceptively small. But my favourite part is the trees, great way to demonstrate the winter landscape. -
Fantastic dragon, especially its whiskers. Great way to start the Year of the Dragon.

Brickvention 2012, a highly dramatised convention report.

Great report on the highs and lows of displaying at a fan convention. I enjoyed reading your report as well as seeing you MOC on the Sunday. It was a cool idea to make Heroica into a Minifigure size game and using mummies as replacements for the golems in the Caverns of Nathuz. -

Fantastic creations, like the contrasting colour schemes of the two different lives. Also really thought the Mailman's vehicle was creative. Great work.

Looking forward to seeing it at Brickvention this year. I have enjoyed the build and humour in the last couple of large MOC's you have created, the airbus in 2010 and the Love Boat last year.

Always enjoy looking at your creations. The fungi really tops of an excellent MOC.

Wow, That is an amazing build. It loks fantastic and the way you have made the castle decay is great. Really liked the wildlife that inhabits the castle now, especially the jellyfish.

How about a theme based on Halloween/Horror?
KnightSnap replied to bsmith13's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well done, you almost picked the name of the new series called "Monster Fighters". If you search on YouTube for "LegoPictureHQ" you should see the video of the upcoming sets, with a large haunted castle/mansion with Dracula and his Bride. -
Great MOC. I think it is a great scale for an actual Lego set. The gates do look quite forbinng which is excellent.

Nice design. Especially like the toolbox design. That is a smooth way to create a compartment -
Its a fabulous entry that I would be happy to put with the rest of the Winter Village I own. Well done.

Awesome. As an Aussie advent calendar, it was well done. I would love to have seen a BBQ in there as well as it is a staple of many Aussie Christmas Dinners.

All the sets are still listed in the Australian version of Lego Shop Online, although the more popular ones are sold out (Mill Village Raid, Escape from the Dragon's Prison and Blacksmith Attack).

Managed to get 7187 Escape from Dragon's Prison as well as 7189 Mill Village Raid cheap at Kmart here in Australia. Also got some Ninjago sets for parts.

I am pretty happy with how the sets look, they look more impressive than PotC sets did. Maybe they could even come with posters, similar to PotC as well. I am looking forward to offical pics of the finalised figures especially.

D2C Designers requesting feedback for 2012 models
KnightSnap replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
1. No, i buy them for display and the pleasure of taking on tougher than normal builds. 2. Usually buy the entire line when I can (City, Castle, Pirates, Star Wars), occasionally outside these lines for particular parts or when cheap. 3. The Colosseum would be fantastic, but Petra in Jordan or the Stonehenge would be interesting. 4. I prefer ultimate sets that cater for minifigs. Similar to the Carousel and Medievel Market. 5. One of my many desires is to see a larger variety of animals that work with the minifigs. A zoo or safari theme would be exciting. I also like the idea of doing diffent cultures, particularly ancient ones, like Ancient Romans or Greeks, Vikings (I collected the series and loved it) Egyptians etc. I also liked the dragon knights and forestmen series in castle, and like the idea of totem animals for various fractions (ie unicorns, dragons, pegasus etc) that assist in the medival fantasy theme. Thanks for asking for our imput.
