Target went to 75% off today. I found a few sets. One store still had 30%.

I believe the "difference in dark greys" is simply light reflecting off the 2x6 plate and the 4 wide plate is in shadow from the control tower.

Has anyone done a cleaner build of this set?

I built 7675 River Chase from Indiana Jones. Lots of pieces had faded color issues. Head had to be forced onto body. It now shows stress marks. or had almost no clutch grip. Hair has no clutch grip. Love the set, Hate the quality.

Another question, 7. Does it have the new speed control commands announced for Power Function trains? Observations: Only 2xAA won't last long. Could put a minifig head in front of IR housing for an F1 racer. I don't criticize the side wings. Those solid build points keep the model from constantly falling apart as kids bash it. The front crash plate serves the same purpose. NXT control would be amusing.

I don't know why, but I found two 2009 Droid Gunship on a clearance shelf. Yahoo! After Christmas, I got two Indy sets and a Dwarven Mine on discount, too. Christmas, well actually Black Friday, was good this year. 2x Star Destroyer 2x MTT 2x Castle Seige more Indy, Advent Calendar, Harley's Hammer, and others from K-mart's sale. Why am I tickled when my wife's jaw drops?

The "utterly useless" piece can make a better sized wheel than the old technic HailFire Droid wheel for the Juggernaut on Kashyyyk.

Interesting. When does Lego sells throughout the year? Do any specific Lego lines sell better during any part of the year?

This design looks interesting. Plus: looks mecha, cockpit, green slopes, pointed knee piece, interesting feet. Minus: wide hips, looks flimsy

This Creator House finally adds furniture, interior decorations and many useful items to be a Doll House. I definitely want to compliment all the non-standard architecture features. I remember asking for these features at Lugnet. I will now dream of beautiful female minifigures to go with this. It is minifig scale, so I don't understand the "Not City" comments. These are so polished enough to drop into a Lego Train event.

Finally, a game from a reputable designer. Are there any rules updates? I think I have a new tag line: WarGaming! If it's good enough for H.G. Wells, Its good enough for me.
