Just wanted to bump this to see if we could get more traffic. come join us.

I am talking about the brick palette. Yeah I know you can do that, but every time I launch LDD it reverts back to red. Its not a major issue, just thought it would be nice if you could change that to something else.

Is there a way to change the default color for extended mode?

Well I finally got all the parts. though I am not super happy about the pictures this will do till I can get a chance to take better ones. When its all said and done I am very happy with the build. Years ago i would say Ldraw all the way. However, with extended mode and recent improvements, LDD is my preferred method of building virtually.

I am in the 20s though some of the stuff i dont think i would do. Right now most things are in their own drawer/bag. i am just now getting to the point where i need overflow bins for certain parts. Only basic brick is fully sorted by color and type. At around 50-60,000 bricks it works rather well.

So I know this is a bit small for a ship but its my first attempt in the larger builds. BattleShipBW by captainoftheknights, on Flickr Just ordered most of the parts from bricklink. Once i get the parts in i will start posting pics of the progress. I havent made a name for it yet or any sort of back story but feel free to make suggestions.

Thank you both. Yeah i have been working on the desk for a bit now, i am putting in some vertical drawers in the upper part to hold two drawer units per side. I also spent a ton of time making labels for the drawers so now i have a pretty good system for organizing things.

I have been lurking for a while, finally decided to post in the LDD group and figured i should also post an intro. I came out of the dark ages more than 10 years ago when i moved out of my parents house and brought my LEGO with me. Lately i havent been building as much since i have been working on my organization of my collection. I am about 90% done with the construction of my work area. Yeah i know its not in there. I was hoping that someone might have mocked one up like they did with the linear actuators before they became available.

Has someone already created a mockup of the original technic turn table in LDD? I am building the Technomecha from the plans and trying to figure out a way to sub out the type 1 turntables. Any help is appreciated.
