[MOC] Luke VS The Rancor (Micro-Mood Scale)
Darth Yogi replied to M<0><0<DSWIM's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice Rancor. I really like it in this scale. The legs look great, and I see you were able to use some of original Moodland techniques. I also love that head. Great job -

Wow, These look great. I think this is your best batch yet of alternates. I especially like the Acclamator Assault Ship. Great job -

You can buy the protos separately here. So it was $7 for the DC-15, and $4 for the m9. I only got 1 mystery pack

I just bought some Brickarms from Toywiz, to add to my other Brickarms, and now I have a decent amount. There may be a few things left out in MOC's or somewhere in a bin. I am really happy with what I got and so here's a review to see what you think. Here's the whole lot. And everything lain out. First is the M1 carbine. It's a great gun for military figures, and can be held in a lot of places. Also the stahlhelm. It's a great German helmet. The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't fit well w/ a backpack. Next the combat SMG. It's a great size but has tons of detail. The only place it's comfortably grip-able is the handle. Next the brown guns. The SMLE (left) is a nice gun, with quite a bit of detail. The M1 garand (right) I think has a simpler, nicer design. They both don't have a great way to look like they are in action. The MG42 is very cool, w/ an ammo drum that come off, but cant attach to anything else. It works well for sci-fi w/o the drum. The C96 broomhandle mauser (front) work great w/ German officers, and has a lot of detail crammed in. The auto-9 is also great, and is a nice large pistol. The M1919 is a great mounted gun, and it can go up, down, and side to side. It also has a removable ammo box. The bazooka is a great fairly simple weapon, ready to take down any enemy vehicle. The M21 sniper rifle has a ton of detail, but I find it too big for a minifig. Great gun nonetheless. I really like the lewis gun. It makes a great mount since it can be attached to the bottom piece of a LEGO lever. Next is the stealthy duo, with their small guns. The M23 SOCOM pistol is great for almost any scene. The micro uzi SMG makes a great pistol for present to sci-fi MOCs. This SW500 magnum revolver is a great gun for past-present MOCs I really like the M41A Xeno Pulse Rifle; mainly since it's gold, and was a freebie. Although a Halo weapon, the MK2 grenade would make a great pineapple grenade too. The bi-pod is nice for military MOCs, but I love the mono-pod, and have already used it in many of my own MOCs including my 74-z speeder, and T-47 airspeeder. I got the combat LMG as a freebie. The gun is very nice, but not very useful in trans-blue. The white M1917 revolver was another freebie. It could work well for snow MOCs. The gun is nice and small, something I like about most BA pistols. The M2019 blaster can be nice for many different time periods. I got this in the mystery pack vol. 2. I really like the print but I'm not a fan of the paintball marker, since I have no use for it. I would've much rather gotten a blade. I pretty much got the spy carbine because I thought it would look great on Boba Fett. It's a great gun all around. Here are my Halo weapons. From left to right: BA-M5 Space Assault Rifle. I'm not a fan of this design, but also not a major Halo fan, but it's a nice gun in general; the high caliber sniper rifle is my favorite of these 3. It looks great on any futuristic figure; last the BA-M6 space magnum. It's a nice pistol that I use a lot. I wanted to get 1 chrome weapon, so I got the HSR, a weapon I really like w/ its unique shape. I also got a speckled cobalt tactical sword in the mystery pack vol. 2. This is a nice sword in a color that I think it can be useful in. I also like the M84 stun grenade a a small grenade for SW. The dadao is a great Japanese sword that I thought looked good for a middle easterner. The rapier has been really useful as I've gotten into pirates fairly recently. It's a very accurate weapon, and has a sharp point at the end. I the bayonets. They are attached with the useful U-clips. The bayonets are pointy and a great size, and fit on LEGO weapons. I got 6 of these for my redcoat army. In my Mystery pack vol. 2, I also got a speckled green minigun. The color is very nice, and I'm glad I didn't get something useless like a trans or brightly colored one. The minigun is great and has 5 parts which fit together nicely. I also got a bronze minigun separately. I added a custom ammo chain because I didn't want to spend $8 on one gun. The bronze is great and would make a great steam MOC. Here's some things I made with the U-clips, some BA, and some LEGO. I saw something similar to the trans blue, electro staff, so no credit to me for that But the U-clips are very useful. a machete w/ my entry for the MCW contest category 1. The machete is very nice, and a good size for LEGO. My last weapon from the mystery pack was a red ray gun. I put it on my MCW contest category 2 alien, Kalen Zupix. This is a great weapon. I actually like it in this color, and the design is great. Next is the damien blade. It's on a modified version of my Bronze destroyer. It's helmet is different, but I didn't have time to add that to my entry. The sword is awesome. It's a great short sword for any medieval warrior. I also got 2 prototypes. The first is the M9 pistol. I this weapon. It's one of my favorite modern guns, and BA's design is awesome. This is my favorite of everything. The sci-fi long rifle (SLR). It's a proto, and what prompted me to get this BA order. I really this one. It's pretty much a DC-15, and IMO its the best of its kind ever made. I only have one but I hope it comes into mass production soon so I can get more. BA review by Darth Yogi. What I think: Quality- They are excellent quality, very crisp molds, and fit perfectly w/ LEGO. 9.5/10 Accuracy- All the guns show a great deal of care to the design to look good. 9/10 Price- They are a reasonable price, and definitely worth it. Protos are a bit expensive. 8.5/10 "coolnes" They are extreamly cool. I'm so glad I have them and they improve many of my MOCs. 9.5/10 Hope you enjoyed please C&C.

I'm in. I'd love to build an ewok catapult. -
Thank. No, the hair is completely original. I made it over some foil to separate from the head.

Here's my last entry, for the "Globetrotters" catagory. Cost- I'd say $5-7, but not completely sure. Inspiration- I've always loved Australia, and the Aborigines seemed like one would be fun to make, and most certainly represent Australia. So I made custom hair from Sculpy, and hand painted all the white, and cut out the loin cloth. Backstory- The tired Aborigine walked slowly through the desert. He came to a lush green tree, sat in the shade, and knew he needed to find an animal soon to feed his family. So here is my entry. The vignette. The front. Side. Back. And a photo of him I liked. Aborigine By Darth Yogi Hope you enjoyed, and please C&C.

Glad to hear there is going to be one for each of the movies. I hope to participate in all of them. And if I'm correct everyone who participates gets a tag, right? So if that's the case I wouldn't mind a blue rebel tag. Thanks.

Awesome Mood Land figures. The snow troopers turned out so well. I love your change of the body, it has a smooth rounded shape. Its great seeing any Mood Land figures, especially when they turn out so well. I think the waist cape could use some work, but other then that it looks great. Great job

Awesome AT-RT MOODSWIM. The AT-RT and the fig both look amazing. I really hope you come out with more MOOD Land scale vehicles. I think the AT-RT seems a little big, but you have fit so many great details. I'd love to see a picture w/ all three of them together. Great job
