  3. Hello LuxorV! Welcome to Eurobricks, the cosy place of all the nice AFOLs. X-D Interesting work you do - digging in the dirt? ;-) :-P Excellent vignettes you have in your BS-account. *y* Enjoy your stay here and have fun. Ciao ON!
  4. Hi there! I always try to build something new from just one set. When I got my hands on the brilliant 4954 creator model town house, I still missed something similar to the 7997 for my train layout. So I started to build a train station with that bricks only. Here are the results (the minifigs are not included to 4954 :-P ): The front with a glass-cash-back machine (is there a regular name for that?): The back. To the left a small pizza service. The complete liftable roof. The station without roof. Waiting area and luggage keeping. Due to my son I had to add a ticket machine instead of a ticket counter. :-| :-D The ticket machine in closeup. ;-) This thing is actually working! You can put a ticket in the back that will slide out to the front. *sweet* To the right a small basin (not so obvious). Before you can pass to the rails you have to void your ticket in the ticket canceler. Then you may pass the barrier. The italian restaurant (take away only :-P ) including an oven, variety of drinks and a small shelf to prepare the pizza. No need to argue - Peppers selling the best pizza in town! X-D After having built the station I added some more "flavour" to it by placing certain parts NOT included in the creator house. Thats a lot better, off course. :-D One example: More in the complete gallery (when moderated). Note that the "named" pics are from the "4954 section" and the pic.....jpg are from the modded station. Enjoy and feel free to comment. ;-)
  5. Thank you for re-opening the topic robogo! I have some pictures of that set I bought during my last vacation: A minifig fits into the alternative truck model (although it

  20. Cool creation, Sinner! My younger son stills plays with Duplo, so from time to time I have to accompany him. When you get to build with Duplo you soon realize how hard it is to build something properly. :-| Limited choice of bricks, weird colors and almost every time you
  21. Hi Ben! The site looks promissing. Maybe not much news for us 'older' AFOLs, but definitely a good start for new ones. *y* I found a little mistake in the "get started" section: It has to be Adobe Reader or Acrobat Reader when talking about older versions, right? While changing that information, you could mention other pdf-readers as well. I prefer FoxitReader: Small program, doesn

  23. If it is such a problem to travel across your own country :-P I would propose you all come over here and join us in Billund next year. *wub* It should be almost the same (talking about the costs) and each one of you U.S. guys would be a great addition to our event. Aussies as well, Sinner! :-D But I see the point: It
