No one has mentioned this, but the project is currently in the very capable hands of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the writer-directors of the short-lived MTV gem Clone High and the fantastic Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. That's a good enough pedigree for AFOLs to be optimistic!

Have there ever been dinosaur toys outside of museum models depicting therapods with feathers? Morphologically the t-rex at least is pretty much in line with current thinking (straight back, stiff tail etc).
