  1. Target have the Brickmaster books at half price $14.50
  2. Just picked up Super Heroes 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City from K-Mart Maddington WA for $39.
  3. I just asked K-Mart Maddington WA about the Haunted House and they said never seen or heard of it. So the rang Belmont and Cannington and they said the same. Plus I have been casing out the Armadale store and it hasn't shown up there. I'm getting quite frustrated now!
  4. Toyworld in Success WA had 2 Modular Pet Shops at $270
  5. I've dot code checked over 10 boxes and got nothing. I have seen them at K-Mart, Target and Big-W Armadale (though the K-Mart ones were being very roughly feel-checked and literally chucked aside by scalpers), and Myer and Target Cannington.
  6. Just like the previous TRU build special, the WA ones were all taken in less than an hour of the email being sent. Yet go to some east coast stores and there's dozens of spots left. Makes me wonder just how many spots there are over here.
  7. K-Mart Maddington WA have most of the Hobbit sets. I scanned 79003 Unexpected Gathering - $118. So I put it back and didn't bother with the rest.
  8. K-Mart Maddington (WA) had a full box of Series 7 today @ $5 each. Did a random pluck of 5 and got Computer Programmer, Bagpiper, Evil Knight, Tennis Player, Jungle Boy
  9. I bought mine from the Velux website a few years ago. Cost me about A$45 all up posted (from memory).
  10. Has this set been released at retail in Australia? Or just from Shop at Home?
  11. Saw a clearance tag at K-Mart Belmont (WA) for Cars Spy Jet Escape for $8!! Alas there was no stock. Nor at Maddington, Cannington or Armadale.
  12. Target Cannington WA had 4205 Offroad Command Centre from the Forest Police line. Silly me labyed it today at the full $69, only to read 25% off tomorrow! Back I go to relayby everything!
  13. Toyworld Success (WA) has new Ninjago and City sets (Fire plane, Police Chinook, Police HQ, Dog Squad, Police Car, Fire Quad, 4WD Chase, Ambulance, Tipper, Caravan and Garbage truck), at around RRP Big W Cockburn Central has S6 CMF (was only about 10 very heavily "felt" bags left) @ $4.74, and some new City (Police HQ, Dog Squad, Police Car, 4WD) at their usual "just below retail" price
  14. Myer Cannington (WA) had quite a few SW Advent Calendars @ $49.95, and Target Cannington had the City one for $49. Target also had a small restock of the two recent Spongebob sets Glove World and the Superheroes one for $39ea.
  15. TRU Morley had S3/4/5 Minifigs @ $3.99 (- 20%) Need to look down the Transformers isle (at the Lego end of it on the side of an end display)
  16. Big W Riverton (WA) had 2 boxes of S5 minifigs @$4.74 each Bought 5 random and scored a Cave Woman, Dino-Man, Zookeeper, Lumberjack and Gladiator. I must say though that these are the 1st series that I personally have noticed the shocking decline in quality. The Dino-Man almost feels fake, legs very loose, all of them feel very light and don't make the right "click" sound when attaching things. I know it has been a constant discussion, but for me to whinge about this means they really ARE bad.
  17. Not sure if this has been mentioned a few pages back (sorry haven't had time to browse lately), but Toys'R'Us in Morley (WA) had the minifig display cases. THey had 8 and 16 capacity cases, in red, blue and yellow. All modular, with clear front flaps, wall mountable etc. 16 slot was $29.99. Forgot how much the 8 slot was.
  18. At Big W Livingstone (WA), there were no Shuttles or Starfighters out on display. It took someone nearly 20 minutes to find them for me, and as it was there were only 2 Starfighters total!
  19. As seems to be happening at many TRU, the Morley store has restocked the previously mentioned Star Wars sets, and the 2 new creator "houses" (no price tags). Also, Target Morley has the new Star Wars sets in: Millenium Falcon $249 Frigate $199 Pod Race $119 Ewoks $? Geonosis Fighter $? Dathomir Speeder $? Sith Infiltrator $?
  20. Target Cannington (WA) still have POTC Cannibal Escape ticketed at $31.20. Also Big W Livingstone have Cars 2 Flo's V8 Cafe ($97) and the Mack truck set ($64ish)
  21. TRU Cannington have removed all traces of QAR, and have also removed (maybe never put up?) any shelf tags on the other POTC stock - just the large specials signs. On another note, they had City Limited Edition Set 3658 Police Helicopter, reg $59.99 less 20% = $47.99
  22. For Perth people, TRU Morley have a few of the POTC sets: Fountain of Youth $39.99 Cannibal Escape $59.99 The Mill $79.99 London Escape $99.99 Despite the awesomeness of these sets I could not bring myself to pay those prices...
  23. If that was at Myer Carousel, they were there a few months ago both opened. I took them to the counter asking for discount etc, they simply said "no" - but I was welcome to count out the 1600-odd pieces.
  24. K-Mart Maddington (WA) have the City Fire Helicopter going for $29
  25. Myer Cannington (WA) have the SW Battle Packs, T-6, V-Wing, Bounty Hunter ship, City Police mini-figs, boat, Command Centre, Police Station, K-9 and Prison Transport, and 6 or so Emerald Nights They also have 2 x Imperial Flagships in crushed and wide-open boxes. I have been in twice in 2 days asking about markdowns etc and they are not interested. Best "offer" I got was 25% off of the $279 price tag. Too much of a gamble if you ask me.
