  1. Thanks. :) Yeah you are right about the color but I don't have that much gray pieces unfortunately. :(
  2. It's my entry for a competition on TurkLUG. Decided to make an UCS version of Clone Walker in the battlepacks. I hope you like it, feel free to comment and critisize.
  3. Lego had a question about a LoTR theme in their latest survey. So they can be doing it we can never know :)
  4. Hello everyone! I was taking the latest survey of Lego yesterday and I saw and interesting question about "Are you interested in having a Lord of the Rings theme?" . I know its just a question in a survey but what do you think about it? Do you think it can be good? And if it happens, do you think TLC will stop Castle sets for a while?
  5. Thanks for advice! I agree with you on the criticism you've given, I'll try to improve myself next time, I'm kinda new on MOC'ing. :)
  6. Hello everyone! I've been thinking about working on a tank-like MOC for a long time but never get the chance to get some treads for it and after a big boring day, decided to start some strange vehicle MOC. :D I admit it really doesn't look like anything in SW Universe but consider it as its from a parallel universe to SW. :P Anyway, enough talking, let me show you my MOC! Its canons can turn 360 degrees and it has loads of firepower as you can see. :P Actually I did think about keeping it simple but my little brother kept suggesting me to add moar guns and moar guns so it end up like this. :) Thanks for looking, Burak
  7. TLG Aayla is waaay better than Arealight one. I honestly can't understand why does she has such a wierd facial expression.
  8. How many ships we will get you think? I mean yeah there are quite a few important ships in whole PoTC serie but making ship sets a little bit expensive tho. :)
  9. I can understand exclusive stuff like ingame items etc. for pre-orders or collector editions but giving early access to people who pre-order is kinda odd. Especially when they aren't taking pre-orders from all around the world.
  10. Hello there, I'm going to ask about the odd Lego pricing in Turkey. I actually asked same thing to our ambassador aswell but I wasn't satisfied with the answer I got, so I decided to ask here aswell to see if I can get a better answer. The question is why Lego doesn't do anything about the Lego pricing? They don't have a Lego Shop in Turkey, I know this, but if Lego distributor in Turkey charging people for ridicilous amounts of money (almost double or triple) of the actual costs of sets, isn't it kinda unfair? Doesn't Lego care about the customers in the countries where there is no official Lego Shop? For me (and most of Lego fan in Turkey that I know of), those prices forcing me to buy from Bricklink or Ebay all the time. And one last thing, If Lego doesn't/can't do anything about the pricing, what is the reason for it? With Kind Regards, Burak.
  11. I did exactly as you said and yeah! I found the place of missing part! thanks a lot mate!
  12. Oh thanks a lot for info! Hmm, then I guess I'll just rebuild it sometime since its not a minor part.
  13. I've just finished building my RGS (and yeah i also think its great :P) and I have even bigger part left; 2x6 brick! I don't know but it looks pretty ok, do you think it worths re-building to find out if its and extra?
  14. I wasn't going to answer this but anyway, If its gonna make you happy, my brother didn't want them aswell, I'm not that greedy to buy an uncomplete set just to make it cheaper. Hopefully this discussion won't go on anymore, Kind Regards, Burak.
  15. :( You almost made me feel regret about posting this seriously. Won't happen again.
  16. Aren't you the ones who got most of the sets cheaper and earlier usually? :D
  17. Can you show where did I review the minifigs? edit: Oh I got your point. It is not really reviewing them, I just told my thoughts about them and the reasons why I didn't buy them. I hope its clear enough. Thanks, Burak.
  18. Hello everyone! My order from BL finally arrived so I'll try to make a review for you. Sorry to inform you but I bought the set without minifigs so I won't be able to make the review of them. This set contains 210 parts and comes in 4 numbered bags and 2 small piece bags. It was a present to my brother so he wanted to build it up and I didn't say no of course. (my RGS on its way anyway :D) So you'll see him on some pictures. :) He had some trouble about sorting out the pieces at first. :D There were many pieces which were new to him but he managed to built whole set himself. (He's 12 y.o) The way they made the mudguards are really awesome, it really gives the look of a pick-up(I hope spelling is true) Also the pizza launcher feature works pretty well, we tried it on Han and Leia. :D It was how it looks just before start making the front side of the truck. There's a front look here. And at last the set is complete! It took about 1 hour or a bit more to complete. Now, let's see cons and pros of this set; Pros; -It's one of the best (maybe "the" best, not sure) pick-up/truck-like sets ever made by Lego! The way it looks is so real in some other way, I know there isnt much thing about a realistic look but I hope you got what I meant about looking real. :) -It's scale is pretty good, It couldn't have been any bigger or smaller in my opinion, yes it is still big for City themed MOCs etc. but I have no desire on city sets or making a lego city so its not a problem for me. :D Well, I don't really have much to say about it really so that is enough for pros. Cons; -It is a general con about Toy Story serie but still, the minifigs doesnt look like lego at all. I mean, come on, people say it wouldn't have looked that nice if they didn't put those detailed figs instead of lego figs but I think we can never know it. Anyway, you can take this as a personal thought instead of a con really. -Doors of the car are a bit shaking. I mean, loose-like, but not that much. Pretty much the same as cargo place under the X-Wing. Playability: 9/10 - Wheels look awesome but you can't really move car right or left while moving. (yeah that's the only bad thing about playability) Design: 10/10 - It's very well designed. I didn't watch the movie but my brother did and he said that it is exactly the way it looks in the movies. And from my point of view, it has such a brilliant design with usage of some parts so smartly (mudguards, pizza launcher, back and front of the truck, etc etc.) Price: 7/10 - It is even more expensive than the SW sets if we think about the price per piece. (and I don't really think the figs will be as expensive as SW figs) Overall: 8.7/10 - I think it is a must buy set even if you are not a TS fan because that truck looks awesome. Kind Regards, Burak.
  19. I think mine was the 6335 Indy Transport. It still has its own place among my sets. :D
  20. Great use of yellow mudguards, very nice MOC aswell!
  21. I want a new stormtrooper battlepack. >.< Other than that, Commando Droids or new Assassin Droids with proper heads would be awesome.
  22. Cry for the Moon - Epica
  23. I want to add flick-fire missle parts to this list aswell. I got a few of them which doesn't fit well.
  24. Those sets can be great for those who are into TS but for myself, other than Pizza Planet Truck, the other sets are kinda wierd and also the minifigs should've got the proper lego heads not those detailed ones. All in all, TS sets are more Toy than Lego in my opinion.
  25. Such an awesome work man!
