  1. I have found that a pound of Lego sells for about $5-9 a pound, depending on source - never pay over $10. Use that and the average for the chromie to see the value.
  2. The beach looks great, if not a little bare, must be a school/work day. I would suggest that you put up some kind of barrier in front of the coffe shop so drivers do not follow the road straight into it.
  3. Nice decals. And to set the record straight, Yo Gabba Gabba is an offering from the creator of the band the Aquabats; and while it is on Noggin (or Nick Jr now), it is not 100% a kiddies show. They used some of the characters on their stage show. The show features a ton of guest stars in the music/movie business and even has special segments for a couple like Biz's Beat of the Day featuring Biz Markee and a little art/drawing segment with Mark Mothersbaugh. This past year at Coachella Music Fest, DJ Lance (with a special appearance by the gang) was one of the most croweded and enthusiastic crowds I saw.
  4. TRU is also having a 25% off clearance items as well; and you can combine this with the BOGO sale.
  5. Found 2 deals at my local Lego store, online is still full price; both are space police: 5971 Gold Heist was $19.99 now $9.98, and 5970 Freeze Ray Frenzy was $9.99 now $4.98. I am mad at myself for missing the TRU BOGO this past week, stupid work making me busy, but I snatched these bargains up.
  6. I am in OKC, Moore to be precise. I am glad to see another from this area, should help me not to miss any area happenings. Do you make it down to our Lego store much?
  7. This is a YMMV, but my local Toys R Us have the Farm 7637 on clearance for $69.99. I have seen it at 2 and out of stock at a third one. I need to hurry up and pick this up for my son, but I am hoping TRU marks it down again before it is gone from my stores.
  8. Hello all. First I would like to thank everyone for the great work and outstanding creativity. My son has just discovered Legos and it has given me the chance to play with them once again. I never had many growing up and never enough or the creativity to build more than a big block or a big ugly technicolor wall. Now at 38 and with my son's ever demands for new creations, and the WWW I can feel the addiction of AFOL growing in me. A little more on me; 38, married, reside in Oklahoma, grew up in San Diego decades ago. Huge Star Wars fan, have not broken the seal of my first SW yet - too afraid that is where all of my money would go then and my son would be relegated to playing with the empty plastic bags. I am fighting real hard over buying the Endor bunker set, the urge to get the Green Grocer first is winning though. Enough of my babbeling, thank you again. Brian

    ID this House

I came across this house in a search and was wondering if anyone could ID it. I assume this is a MOC, and I would love to get more detail, and see the artist credited. Original discovery point: http://www.inquisitr.com/30784/james-may-t...-in-lego-house/
