Can someone direct me to a link to the pics? I saw them this weekend, but they appear to be gone now.

Going to pick this up in the morning, just found out it is still new, the box is open but all the items are still in bags inside. I also picked up some open complete Star Wars and Prince of Persia from the same person for a STEAL, older sets w/ retail of $295 for $65. Best deal I have ever found.

I have a chance to pick up a complete in box 3804 system for $40. My son is wanting to get the NXT, he is 9 and this might be his xmas gift this year, but I did not know if this would be a good system to try out his robotic interests on, or if for the price it was worth it for parts. I have looked on line and can not find much in the way of plans for this set so I was leaning towards passing.

THANK YOU!!! As a novice that collects/makes stuff for my son to play with, until he gets older and is ready to build more advanced stuff, this is so awesome. I always want to see the build techniques on these incredible MOCs. I love the suggestion of Duplo for building up the base, I would never have thought of this and this would save a ton of bricks. I would also never thought of putting a base plate on top of bricks, but I guess it gets anchored down enough with the other plates/bricks. I doubt I will ever build anything this great looking, but now I am better armed if I decide to try. Now I just need to get about 1/8th of the bricks you have. Thanks again and your work is truly awesome.

Toys R Us has Buy 2 get 1 free this week, excludes Star Wars & PotC. Of course the 2 sets my son wants for his birthday this week.

I bought a bulk lot off of craigslist and I have come across a head I can not identify. It is light gray, or perhaps light blay, I can't really tell. I thought it was Peeves from HP, but there is actually one in the lot and it is not him. I have looked through Bricklink and have not found it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Anyone know if you can get 1x1 plates? I am considering building a mosaic for my son's room and it looks like I will several thousand 1x1 plates, most of them in black. I would love to be able to order a PAB case of them and save over BL prices.

I am super excited for these new sets. Some of the prelim pics looked better, but IMO all the figures look great. My son is going to be super pumped when he sees these pics.

I should have put a smiley face in there. I got the Guide for my son's birthday, and I get daily updates of what he wants (always the most $$ - Jango Fett, Cloud City) and what is wrong with the ones he has (Mace Windu's eyes are wrong (CW version) he needs the other one). I am just glad he does not surf the web outside of a few sites he is allowed, once he finds this place or brickshelf I am toast as I do not have the bricks or talent to compete with the ETREMELY TALENTED builders here. You also never know what the will like the best, my son loves Plo Koon's fighter, so I will build some more for him, but he does not mess with his favorite character's (Vader) tie fighter.

My son is 7 and just got into Lego and Star Wars this past year and I can tell you that he does not play with the ships that much compared to stuff he builds himself. But the figures are all he wants. He has started playing more with the ships recently so this might change for him soon. I have got several figures via the magnet sets and off of Bricklink. I have to resort to some custom figures soon as he wants some no longer made and some that were yellow only, and he only wants fleshies for his Star Wars and Potter sets, his regular (Castle) Lego is fine in yellow, but not the license stuff. DO NOT buy the Lego visual guide for him, unless you want to hear "Dad I need this and this and this"; and unfortuantly it is all old stuff no longer made and stupid expensive.

It would be nice to see Lego not put so many exclusives in the big expensive sets now or not so many redundancy in sets. I got my son the Turbo Tank for Xmas as he wanted it mostly for the figures in it. The bad thing is that Aanakin is in it and he has 3 of him already and he will get a couple of more with the 2011 sets.

Congratulations to everyone that won, they (and the ones that did not win as well) were all great. And I learned alot of things for my next attempt at a MOC.

I was being sarcastic about Bane, but the series does have him being way more successful than just about the entire Jedi Council, sometimes it can be a bit much. Where did you get that Order 66 was just a worst case scenario order? I have not watched all of CW and if this is touched on I really want to see that episode as that is some of the most interesting part of the series for me so far - the movie tie ins.

I have reposted my entry per the amended rules, no figure stand in and I found my digital camera, although it appears to be on it's last leg.

I have just started watching CW on Cartoon Network; and I am really anoid with how inept the Jedi appear in the series. Cad Bane is the badest MF in the entire SW Galaxy. Why did Darth Sidious not take him as his apprentace? He can top anyone and Sidious might be the only one that could top him. I am sorry but Mace Windu was head of the Jedi Council, Obi Wan is another Jedi Master, not to mention Yoda and the rest all had dealings with Bane and none of them can top him? And to the comment about the order 66 and the clones, I always thought it was a deep program in each clone that would be triggered with the order and they would act like a slepper agent, ie The Manchurian Candidate. But I wounder how it would affect the clones close to the Jedi afterwards.

I am about to punch my monitor over the stupid Weightlifter. I thought I was going to get it first try, but that theme did not pan out. Then I googled a theme I knew nothing about, thought I hit pay dirt and after looking at every review in the series - BIG FAT NOTHING.

This is one of my first attempts at a MOC and my first to go public. I have limited bricks and even more limited "vision". Pharaoh, over seeing construction, just a small accident.

I am in the same boat. I have a feeling it is a combination of me being new to Eurobricks and LEGO in general, and me way overthinking it.

That might explain why I ended up with 3 Ring Masters, I thought I paid more attention not to pick the same bar codes. I am going again on my lunch with a better sheet and I will be feeling the bags today. I had no luck at the other TRU on my way home.

I picked up 10 at lunch today. I was in a bit of hurry so I did not pay enough attention to the bar codes. Ended up with 3 Ringmasters, 2 Disco Stus, 2 Witches (this is okay as I will use one for my Haloween MOC and one for the son), a surfer and a Vampire. I am mad I did not pay enough attention and missed the Trojan, Mexican, Explorer and Pharoh. I will hit another Toys R Us on the way home and hope I have better luck/pay more attention.

How did troops and equipment disengage from the AT-AT with no RotJ type docking system in place? That is the one that always bugged me; and I have not read much of the expanded universe stuff to ever see an answer to this one.
