  1. OOC: Well, any ranged attacks (handcannons or bows, etc) can be from the back row, have Punii in the back row as well, otherwise, yeah just have everyone in the front. You could probably roll a few rounds until someone is close to KO.
  2. OOC: Apologies, college is starting again and I've been focused on that. I may have to turn over the role of party leader to someone else, as I soon will only be able to post a small amount here and there. "Karie darling, I like your thinking, let's go with your battle order!"
  3. OOC: Once Karie posts I'll get the battle order and NPC actions up.
  4. OOC: Punii should no longer have the bomb in his inventory. Battle order: -------------------------------- Em Johon Erdathcath attacks Harvester (left, back row, handcannon) Jeaux Johon Karie Masson attacks Blue tentacle (left) Boomingham Punii sits in the back row doing nothing Erdathcath attacks Harvester (right, back row, handcannon)
  5. Erdathcath pulls herself straight, up a good 7 ft. tall, and declares deeply, "Karie, don't even mention what they have done to you. I have faced these foul creatures time and again, I have seen them outright slaughter kids and adults alike simply for the fun of it. I have had my heart ripped out in agony for the poor souls who were destroyed by the Regret and his minions. Never again will I allow that to happen, if I have to die to prevent the Regret from rising again, I swear, I will go down with him. As such, do NOT even consider me to have a misunderstanding of these beasts, I know what they are like, and I personally look forward to when the Regret has his body ripped to shreds and his reign of terror is over."
  6. OOC: If I remember correctly, isn't this left over from the last quest where Punii made bombs? If it is, the military grade bombs did 100 I thought.
  7. "Karie darling, don't mind him, his job is just to get into our minds and mess with us, ignoring him makes this battle so much easier. Plus, give us a little while more, and he'll be dead." Turning to Punii, she requests a big requirement from him, "Punii, I'm needing you to go first. If you throw the bomb that will take out a couple enemies, and make it much easier for the rest of us, you can also take some damage from the paint without dieing. Are you willing to do that? Worst case scenario, I can just revive you afterwards. Johon, if you are able to ravage them after Punii throws his bomb, we should be able to clear most of the enemies." Battle Order: --------------------------- Punii Throws Military Grade light bomb (It does 100 damage, right?) Johon Masson attacks Blue tentacle left (back row) Johon Erdathcath attacks Harvester (left) with her handcannon from back row Em Jeaux Boomingham Karie Erdathcath attacks Harvester (right) with her handcannon from back row
  8. OOC: Yeah, just the muckraker.
  9. OOC: Yay, I get to choose all the actions! If I missed anything or any actions, just let me know. Battle order ------------------------------------ Em Johon (attacks red tentacle left) Johon (attack red tentacle right) Boomingham Erdathcath (attacks harvester right, back row) Jeaux Erdathcath (attacks blue tentacle right, back row) Karie (attacks Crusher tentacle left) Masson attacks Blue tentacle left (back row) Punii attacks Blue Tentacle left (back row)
  10. OOC: Ok, hopefully we'll have the Battle order up by tonight, just waiting on people's actions. And could just be me, but weren't all of the enemies mechanical? Erdathcath attacks Harvester Left and Harvester Right (back row, handcannon)
  11. "Lets rip his pitiful soul, if you could call it that, from his pitiful body. Johon, do you want to use the glasses on him?"
  12. "I'm agreed with you Em, these pictures are amzing. However, Seerus, I have a simple question for you, are these people still alive? Just solidified into a painting? It seems you would be better off just freeing them from their paintings and using them as soldiers..." Erdathcath downs a Smelling salts.
  13. "A mining tunnel? Seems easy enough to me. Let's move onto the mining tunnel!"
  14. "I just have one question. What if we prove you wrong? Everyone, including you two are completely convinced that the Regret is unkillable. The Regret himself is truly convinced of the fact as well. However, we have time and time again brought down many of his "powerful" creations with nary a blink of an eye. Perhaps it is fear that he lives off of, it makes him strong, and from what this discussion has contained, I believe that he is unbeatable simply because everyone is afraid of him, they don't have confidence they can do anything to stop him. But I make it my personal goal, and the goal of this team to disprove you and everyone else, and show that he can be killed. All we need to know now, is any way we can access the Citadel without him knowing of our presence, as well as anything that we could find in there that will help us deal with him."
  15. Erdathcath collects both of the glasses, turning to the party, "I'm sure we will have use for these later on, for now, let's not use them."
  16. Erdathcath picks up the white magnifying glass, and studies it. "I wonder what on earth these could be for."
  17. Erdathcath walks up and inspects the orbs of light seeing what they could possibly be signaling.
  18. "Punii, if what you are saying is true, were these 3 princes as strong as, or stronger than the Regret? It would give us much more hope in defeating him if a few others were able to easily dismiss them." Glancing over at Boomingham and Karie's small bickering, she attempts to soothe them both, "Ladies, you are both beautiful, and so does the sheep. In either case, we should stop the bickering and continue on. If everyone is content with our exploration, shall we continue North?"
  19. OOC: Sincere apologies for my absence, was gone all day, Erdathcath surveys the land, looking at the worn down village, which had lived over a few hundred years in the snow and cold, a swirl of emotion both sadness and peace settled over her as the snow continues to fall down, collecting in her hair and clothes, melting upon contact. The imagery before her was one that best represented the Regret and those who fought against him. The damage done, yet still the people around him carrying on, bearing the worst, yet still continuing on. In one sense it inspired her, showing what they could eventually do if they tried hard enough, at the same time, it would not be easy, no doubt, there would be sacrifices along the way, ones she no doubt would be able to handle, never the less, it still worried her about the outcome of the quest. Would she be able to lead these men through the winter cold, and snowy drifts that would be built up against them? The only way she could know was simply to continue on, realizing that everyone was staring at her and her look of concern, she broke out of the spell, and answered their questions, "I'm sorry, just caught up in the moment. Yes, lets continue on, it doesn't seem this village is much use to us, at least not for right now. Let's move onto the East."
  20. Erdathcath watches the flurry of conversation, and the snow picking up, intermixing and making things confusing, she calms her mind, "Let's go to the village. Even if just to take a short break, then we continue on to the Citadel."
  21. "If you bear us no ill will, nor shall we. As for the machine you are referring to, no he is not stalking us, he is in fact, one of our party. As for the matter of gold or other treasures here, it would seem the Regret or Facade, has done his best in trying to gather as many people to the island as possible, and then kill them all. We already fought off and killed one of his monsters, one of 12 which now surround this island, as such, I do not believe most of those who come here seeking treasures will actually be able to escape. I would ask you to join us, but you can choose to take a separate path if you so desire, I do not deny that the route we are taking will no doubt lead to the death of some, or many of us, but we have been summoned here to do the required deed to end the rule and tyranny of the Regret."
  22. "Knox, is it? Well, seeing as how you are quite a dull fellow, let me explain. Our sole purpose is not the treasure that the Regret has here, no, our goal is simply to kill the Regret, and if that includes saving your rears as you make a speedy escape from the Citadel, then so be it. But I will only say this once, leave me and my party alone." Erdathcath slams the butt of her handcannon firmly on the ground, "If its not clear, leave us alone. Or things might get a bit messy."
  23. "I.. I don't.. know. It seems familiar, like I have seen it before, almost from a nightmare, but I'm not sure..."
  24. "Johon, how do you know you've been here? I will say for myself, the Citadel does look familiar, perhaps it is much like the one we found in the mines.."
