LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
Amazing Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Target is very weird, I almost never go there anymore due to horrible customer service. They're awful over here. I tell them to please check if they have more in the back, and they always give me the BS answer of whatever we have out is out. There was one time where I was told this, I go to ask a different person and the guy comes out with some Lego movie sets. I know most of them are lazy to check the back. -
Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Amazing Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes, the concept art most likely has him being bald the whole time. It makes sense for him to look casual. He doesn't need the armor on, he literally has the power of God in his hands. People are mad about that though. I can't wait to see how he looks. The black order should be great to get too Bearded cap might be my most anticipated minifigure! Can't wait to see this poster made in Lego, hopefully it's this one. -

Infinity war trailer is beautiful and it isn't even in HD! Thanos looks like a very good villain. The reason he doesn't have his helmet and armor is because he literally has the power of God in his hands. I know some people who were complaining about that. Skrulls in the MCU makes me so happy! Oh, the possibilities they could do with them.

Talking Hulk!!! Yes! He looks like he's going to be the highlight of the film. Phenomenal trailer!

SDCC Superheroes Exclusive Minifigures Guessing Game 2017
Amazing Bricks replied to Amazing Bricks's topic in LEGO Licensed
Bragging rights! Congratulations, you are the second winner of the guessing game! -
HOLY CRAP!!! The sound of that infinity war trailer Ten years leading to this moment and it's been worth the wait. I had some friends who saw this and i'm completely jealous. Thor with the Guardians, Scarlet Witch dodging and breaking a car, Thanos sounds menacing, bearded cap, blonde black widow, doctor strange and star lord jumping on magical platforms, spidey sense, new spiderman suit, thanos sending fireballs, thanos wearing the gauntlet with the stones, and BAM done. I'm hoping SDCC will be able to show this footage, I'm so pumped! The MCU has been here for a decade and i've grown to love the whole thing. It's amazing to get all of these characters into one movie!

DC Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

...They're ok at best, but still a little disappointed. Builds are better than the minifigures for the most part, wait did I just say that? Killer frost, what did they do? She needed the spiky white hair, it's like they had a whole bunch of extra Magpie hairpieces left from the Lego batman movie sets and decided to give her that... Flash, really? I'm not even going to say anything about him. Reverse flash looks decent, cyborg has a new variant... I'm shocked that we already have 3 cyborg variants in less than three years. While flash, in four years, has only two. The builds in this set are actually good. Lex luthor mech is actually the highlight of the wave for me. It's a very neat build, props to lego for remaking a set and being able to pull off a better build. Cheetah.. that hair doesn't work for you. The plain black legs should bother me, but it's fine. Firestorm is ok for the most part, could've been worse. Batman and Wonder Woman have new variants! That's good, I'm happy about that. Wonder Woman seems to have the new face from that exclusive book. A good set overall. Superman, you just can't get a break. First, they don't give him a new variant for the justice league sets, and now he just looks boring. Lobo looks surprisingly good, the aqua man hair piece works for him. The builds are decent, not bad at all. Krypto looks great! Reminds me of scooby and it works. The whole wave overall: 7/10- 1,409 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Amazing Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I just now realize what's going on, there are hints about an upcoming licensed CMF series. There's a lot of pages to read and I've gone through most of them. Isn't a Lego Batman movie series 2 coming? Doesn't that have to do with dimensions too? I guess I'm kind of late to the party, someone want to fill me in of what's going on? I forgot this page existed. The pictures that I have here are hints, yeah we'll call them hints, for future normal minifigure series. -

Alright guys! Review time for Spider-man: Homecoming! It is a film that understands who Spider-Man as a character is and explores what makes him tick with millions around the world so much. It is also the first Spider-Man film where Peter Parker is a 15-year old kid in high school, and with it, we see his adolescent sense of exhilaration every time he dons the red-and-blue spandex to go fight crime. Homecoming makes the wise decision of not going through Spidey’s backstory all over again. Instead, it dwells upon Peter Parker’s growing pains as he tries his best to actually be Spider-Man and in the process, impress his mentor Tony Stark and be accepted as an Avenger. I loved it from beginning to end. The film is much smaller in scale than any Spider-Man movie till date. It is also a relatively realistic look at what a high-school kid with superpowers would do, the things he does right, and the things he does wrong. Ironically, grounding the film in realism makes the overall movie even more entertaining and answers many of the logical issues people may have had with Spider-Man and his powers in previous films. This is a film where, rather than saving the world, the biggest problem Spider-Man faces is that he has to stop a villain but doing so would make him miss his school homecoming dance. The film was light hearted, yet intense when it needed to be and moved at a good pace which ensured that you were always engaged while also bringing forward a bunch of surprises that I for one, did not see coming. I can’t go into specifics because simply put, I want you to be as surprised as I was during the film. Tom Holland is the best of both worlds. His Peter Parker is intelligent and caring while his Spider-Man is fittingly quippy and quite literally earns the title of ‘Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’. Tobey Macguire and Andrew Garfield were great, don't get me wrong, but Holland nails what spidey should be. Ned Leeds, Peter Parker’s best friend in the film is a stand-out as well. However, one character aside from our hero that truly blew me away (no pun intended) in the film was Michael Keaton as The Vulture. Perhaps the best villain to come out of the MCU so far, The Vulture has a depth to him that very few supervillains in comic book movies possess. Again, can’t go into this too much without giving away spoilers, his character is menacing when he needs to be but has other sides to him that Michael Keaton plays to perfection. In fact, we can at certain moments, completely understand why he’s doing what he does. And that, to me, is a sign of a great villain. Peter Parker’s relationship with Iron Man in this film is also perfect, with the man who started it all Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland playing off each other so well. And while Iron Man never overstays his welcome, he never feels like a last-minute, rushed addition as well. Instead, his part in the overall plot feels almost essential to the character development of Spidey without feeling too intrusive. One thing I have to say about the movie is the drama. There are certain scenes that when it hits, hits hard. Especially if you love Spider-Man as a character. Without going into spoilers, that’s all I’m going to say about that. Finally, the action sequences. The multitude of small, almost vignette-like moments that the film presents where we see Spider-Man just doing his thing that stands out. These moments, while seemingly minor, go a long way in making you actually care about the character. That being said, there is an action sequence on a ferry that is downright spectacular. Spidey truly is home! There are 2 end credit scenes, make sure to stay and watch them. One of them is amazing, but just stay for both. It's a great addition to the MCU. Rate: 9.5/10 I really do appreciate if you read all of this, it was definitely long.

Right? Half of the tree build is printed on the box! That's a new low.
