I mainly like the newer Lego City sets, and started in august 2009 collecting them. Mostly i buy new or hardly used sets at Marktplaats.nl or simply order them in any web-shop like Brickstore.nl Brickshop.nl Webgigant.nl or hetdeensesteentje.nl etc..
I own train 7898, 7938, 7939, 3677,10233 and have all modulars. The last 7 modulars i even have two copies of. Meanwhile i collected almost 100.000 parts....almost all of them are in the layout...
    Any questions, please mail me!

  1. We could always buy two sets, in order to build one large modular.... It worked fine to use even three sets for a large BrickBank! TLG, ofcourse, wants us to buy multiples....
  2. Well, that would be nice...but no clues yet? We might have to wait until december?
  3. Long time ago for me to post here....but kind of curious abput what the next modular will be. I assume there are no comcrete things about it, yet?
  4. The more i look at the new SC sets, the tinier the wheels get.....they really look tiny....hadn't noticed that before!
  5. By the way, not all dutch people follow the rules.....?
  6. Great build!?
  7. The roof part of the bookstore is very well designed. Curves and colors are really attractive and are a great addition to the roofs we have seen so far! Expanding the bookstore sideways will be difficult as it could affect the coseyness looks of it.....we'll see how that works out!
  8. I wonder who got them into doing their own XXL version...?
  9. Great link...always nice to see new parts or new colored parts!
  10. It might be a bit smaller, but we have to think about the extra walls on the inside, due to the fact that it are two separate buildings. This takes a bit of the budget! If you would lik to make it higher or wider, you'd better orde two sets instead of bricklinking stuff.... I also like the birch....my parents had three of them and it kind of reminds me of the garden is was playing in, as a kid! Is there already an inventarisation of new parts....tea cups, those LBG rounded 1x1 bricks? Blue bird, propellor on a round plate, scarf, pumpkin, umbrella, Anyone?
  11. This is a set that suits me well! I will enlarge the bookshop but it will still have the cosey and warm look! The other building might get an extra floor or so, to keep up with the reat of my XL modular! It is attractive and colourful, maybe not too exciting, but i think that for most of us, it will be a great addition to our modular streets! ?
  12. Yes, honestly speaking, if it would have been a chinese restaurant, i would not have been as happy as i am now...?
