  1. Someone who has the set could tell me what is the part# of the 1x14 Yellow Technic Brick at the end of the instruction booklet? I'm looking for this specific number, not the one that you can find on Bricklink. Thanks in advance
  2. The 8439 from 2004 had the "bluish gray" parts instead of old greys one. It also came with the newer pneumatic cylinder design. (the one without the square bottom) --> For a Technic builder, the 8439 is probably the best because it has parts that fits better with the new ones. For a Technic collector, the 8459 is probably better because of its box.
  3. 28t for the new turntable seems to be the only solution. Just try something like this with a 24t : Doesn't works. 28t looks like a "Lego" number that would fit with the actual gears.
  4. Anybody noticed the "Brick, Arch 1 x 3 x 2 Curved Top" in yellow on the Grand Emporium? I think this is quite a nice "new part" when you see the actual price for one...
  5. It was so fun to meet you all and see all your outstanding creations! I really enjoyed Brickfête and want to thank everyone who participated in this event, especially Chris and Janey who entertained us during the 4 days and organized everything. The most difficult part for me was to listen and speak English 4 days in row. Hope to see Brickfête moving in Quebec soon. Benoît Genest QuéLUG member
  6. It would be even better if you could integrate the .A very nice way to have an automated trolley!
  7. I agree with lightningtiger, this is really awesome. There's only one thing that bugs me : the side door. On all the campers I know, it is located on the right side. Almost nothing...
  8. Looking at the pictures from the Flickr's photostream pointed on the Bricklink page, and particularly at this pic : http://www.flickr.com/photos/patrickvh/5726933562/ , it reminds me someone who posted in this section about his "First MOC". He was showing this pic and asking us which MOC it was. Sometime later (but not that much ), he posted pictures of his finished "MOC" which ended to be Mahjqa's Stilzin Arctic Vehicule. These pics were the exact same as the ones of this photostream.
  9. They might switch for something like DCC (used in model railroading). But this would cost a lot more than PF or 9v... Let's see, LEGO sometimes surprises us!
  10. I thought TTools was developed by Nico71.
  11. The Torque-Tube looks like these parts to me: But it doesn't makes sense since these parts can't transfer torque.
  12. I'm not really a fan of the skid-steering, but good model though. And also great likage.
  13. Maybe there wasn't enough room for a knob/knob gearing so he moved it forward.
  14. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4500081 If you look at the front, you can see that white 1x14 Technic Bricks are used, as in the back. It was supposed to be a tribute to the 8868 origins as a studfull set. When I designed my model, I had no white 1x16 Technic Bricks, so I ordered some. But the Bricklink seller sent me white 1x14, and it was too late to replace them. So I kept the 1x14 and this is what it gave. I also think studfull bricks gives a tougher look.
  15. Thanks Dluders for compiling my JPG instructions from Brickshelf. May I put the link on my BS folder/Mocpages future article, etc? It is always great honour to be featured on EB.
  16. If the Technic Challenges from lego.com weren't what they are, he could clearly enter this month one and win it, without no doubt. This is totally amazing and incredibly well done, since it allies sweet design with outstanding mechanisms and complex drive-train. A very (x100) great MOC Mr. Kuipers!
  17. When I look at the last picture of the first post, I say ouch for the 1x6 links! Also, why don't you use a new style 28t differential for the rear axle instead of and old-styled one? Nice MOC at all!
  18. Oh! Just remembered that I forgot to tell you something about the rears axles : For those who'd like to reproduce it, you must replace the two #2 Dark Bley Connectors, by two Dark Bley Differentials (new style 3 wide). Sorry!
  19. Wow, what a great honour to be featured on Eurobricks! I'm gonna try to post my future MOCs by myself. You might be surprised to see a 601 parts count, since the challenge allowed only 600 parts. But, it's the turntable that's in two parts in the Dluders' pdf parts file!
