  1. My crossbow shall hurt this easily. Back Row and fire Crossbow
  2. This Chesterine thing has opened up a new can of worms. "Incidents" and the fact that she was the one in the bedroom. High Conjurator, if you think it is foolish that Chesterine did it, you also thought it was foolish to think a family member did it when apparently, they did. Servants are out, I don't think they could overpower a wizard.
  3. Ok, I think we should start to post what we gathered so far, each time we add something, copy and paste the list into your post and add. 1. Disappears after an ordinary day 2. No magic was involved (or the magical trackers would have traced it they said) 3. Nobody seemed to have an argument with the Matriarch, so there must have been an incentive to kidnap her or whatever happened.(Money, power, grand magical abilities?) High Conjurator, what sort of power would the Grand Matriarch have? If it was a power grab/usurper, it must have been a younger Ziegfreid who felt jealous. Who is the youngest person here?
  4. So are you saying this is like a witch hunt? Who argued most with the Matriarch?
  5. Bacari raises his voice, to ask everyone. "Has any of you felt anything mysterious, or a strange presence? If everything is there, she did not walk out of this place, she must have taken something, the bed is unmade, she was sleeping, and since I belive she didn't walk out, she must have been under a spell of some sort to teleport. Which I assume is why you guys wanted mostly mages, because there might have been a sorcerer. That's why you didn't hear or see anything. She did not walk out of the building." EDIT: Just a theory.
  6. No no no, I think I understand! "Ssshhherrroessshh" - take out the ssshh out and we get: herrroessshh - now we must do the other side. (Life's one big math equation isn't it? ) herrroes - an elongated term for for Heroes. So logicaly, he is asking "Heroes?" Yes, we are the heroes chosen to save the matriarch, now would you mind showing us someone to debrief us?
  7. Bacari gets on one knee, and holding his crossbow. (Though this effect looks better with the sword planted on the ground. ) Ziegfried Manor, I shall swear to gallantly rescue your Matriarch, or die trying.
  8. Don't worry, I am sure. This is the most reliable weapon ever, it never, ever, ever misfires. Name some times something went wrong with this crossbow. (Quote it)
  9. I've been up late the past few nights and I shall go to sleep early, plus I'm eager to try out my bedroll. Bacari unrolls his roll by the fire and puts his gold in a safe spot. Now the most important thing. Bacari loads his crossbow and hugs it as he lays down, ready for use, and the purple cloak makes him even warmer, and starts to try and go to sleep
  10. If you do that, I bet everyone will be mad at you for letting Bacari get a gun. Recipe for destruction!
  11. You know what? I shall increase my chances. Signs up for: 1, Harvest Time
  12. Ok, I'll take that signora. Bacari reaches and takes the crossbow before anyone can speak.
  13. But it is unloaded. Funny, you all hate this crossbow and when I give it up, you still are concerned.
  14. Here you go, signora. Bacari hands over the crossbow, stock first.
  15. To avoid further trouble witch seems will happen, does anyone want to hold my crossbow for the rest of the day?
  16. Everyone, I'm opening up a poisones chocolate factory, who wants to join me?
  17. Wait, we are in the 1400's?
  18. Woops, its diffulty check: http://www.mikeshea.net/Simplifying_Dungeons_and_.html EDIT: Erdathcath, I started to save up my poison after the cow incident.
  19. Dc-dice check, that's what it says in my D&D book. And I only shot arrows at people because- an arrow goes by my head and I see you and other people with bows out but you are flipping over tables like you were on a rampage. This is a bar, so no one can expect someone to be aware of everything around them.
  20. Bacari flips over a table. Table will stop 1d6 of damage, and stops shrapnel dc12. "Uh-oh!! Don't want that stuff do we?"
  21. Bacari's crossbow fires into the wooden floor. "Misfire!" And Bacari dives across a table.
  22. Cause where would be the fun in life with out triggerhappy crossbowmen?
  23. If you regret being blamed for someone killing a cow, then yes.
  24. Thank you, Sylph. Hey guess what rangers? Your cow isn't safe anymore.
  25. We are, signora. Remember, the Watch are thugs so the Heroica Veterans are the ones that will fight, so we must tell them.
