Alex is pleased that he can put in his input. Well, chainmail actually doesn't provide as much movement as plate armor. (only if the plate armor is articulated) So even though chainmail weighs less, it can't beat newer technology such as articulated plate armor in movement.

The Chevalier hears the conversation with the elves and Tensi, but decides not to intrude, as an honorable knight shouldn't do that. He pulls out his sword and The Ranger Bart tips over the table begins to sharpen it with a rock and oils it. Seems like a good way to pass the time. Alex waits for a conversation that he could join in to start.

Alex the Orange and Black Chevalier walks in, happily whistling a tune. He orders a drink. Anyone want to spar before a quest? Never hurts to practice.

Alex finnaly gets to reply. Well, one- elves do age slower. But savage orc tribes still raid through the forest, and as an elf soldier, I dealt with there attacks. This battle, what so happened to be in a field, was a big attack. It was a coalition of about 5 tribes. And all the elf groups in the area attacked. I brought my friends there, I was part of one of the elf groups, but I became a soldier for a local baron on the other side of a nearby mountain. After hearing of the invasion, the baron granted me rights to help my tribe and leave. That is when I get to start on more adventures, as I left the army. So yes, there was a recent one, many recent ones at that. Alex glances at the new person sitting at the table as Bomingham and Alex finished talking. It was a barbarian. I heard someone say "Eric," is that you? I am new here.

No, I'm a conquistador, I just believe the French called it something else.

Woops.. What are the French ones called? Curiassers or something?

Alexandre joins in. "Battle of the Field- nice fight, I was in. Smashed some with our cavalry, they never saw it coming!"

Um.. maybe because he was poisoning cows and shot a crossbow at me? And it's not like I killed him, he just ran away. Probably going to turn into a pirate of some sort.

1st, sorry Sandy, I guess no one keeps the gold. After reading your post in the Rules and Discussions Topic. Now for the Cavalry Regiment, it was tough, always camping in the rain. And my old captain kept insisting of some "New World"" or something, and how the planet has more land. I never know if it is true or not. He said that the stars have a pattern, and that the pattern shows there are more continents. What about your life?

Congratulations, Henry! You won 150 gold! Scorpiox, actually it was just a fun/storyline way of getting rid of Bacari, and Bacari dropped his gold. EDIT: OOC:Brickdoctor, actually, Nyx got 2 gold and a gem. It's only fair to give to others.

That must be a high cave... oh, I forgot, there is still 150 gold I didn't give away from the quest Bacari took.... so there's gold on the floor!!!! Who ever posts: "Jumps on the 150 gold." gets to keep it.

Not far, I come from a peninsula. I owned a castle, I found one on a hill in ruins, I lived there for a bit. It had bats and cobwebs, so it was really old, so I came here to tell tales of adventure and honor my code to help others. And after that, I was Corporal Commader of the 23rd regiment of lancers in the army of some local baron.

Wow, now people want me to switch back... Then I'll be a sword-swing happy knight.

Alex's knightly code to help others kicked in. He stretches out his hand to help the barbarian off the floor. "The inn's a better place to sleep."

You really want another crossbow aimed at you? And I see I went from Italian to a French Conquistador.

OOC: For those unaware, after my recent quest, I have decided that I prefer Knights and changed my character. (No more cow shooting. ) The bar doors come open, the rattling of metal follows. I man walks in, wearing a Morion Helmet and plate armor, with his colors on his under-surcoat - Orange and Black. His metallic buckler is on his back, and his right hand near the hilt of his curved sword. Sitting across the room, is a crossbowman in a cape, messing around and obviously not liked, as he accidentally shot a cow. The crossbowman gets up and eyes this new conquistador. The purple clad crossbowman, realized he was caught- in "having fun" terrorizing other adventurers. The knight stares, when Bacari stands up and issues a challenge, by shooting past the knight. The conquistador dashes forward, sword drawn, and slashes to the right, knocking the crossbow to the ground, and then does a left crossing backhand. Though since the curved sword is only serrated on one end, it merely hurts Bacari as it hits his jaw. As the man falls to the wooden floor, a massive overhand cut falls on the man's chest. It makes a large gash in the crossbowman's leather armor. 3 hits in 1 second! Bacari manages to get back up and grabs his crossbow, though another swing came around, cutting Bacari's arm, then a jab again. Bacari bleeds more, and runs out the bar, cradling his arm. "I think you won't be seeing him again." declares the orange and black conquistador. "I'm Alex, the Chevalier by the way..." He takes a seat on a stool, at the bar of the bar. (?) "One more thing." The conquistador finds some dropped things on the floor, out of Bacari's pocket, 2 gold and a Sapphire gem. He gives it to the nearest person, Nyx the Mage/Pandora. Congrats, it's yours. Bacari is no more, or so it seems......

Ok then, never mind. I take Sapphire.

I shall take the Garnet Gem, I guess. Then read my post in Heroica Hall.

Thanks Zeigfrieds, call on us anytime. What a great quest. OOC: I might scratch Bacari, after seeing the good/bad things about my job class, and switch to a new one, after all, it's not that hard to regain levels of experience. So if anyone wants, take my gem, I'll give it to whoever claims it.
