  1. Speaking of writing, that's another way we end with a bang whenever Heroica ends in a very long time. Each quest is a different book. We had this discussion awhile back, it would be pretty cool. Or maybe each character has their own book?
  2. Endgame, that's a, um... very lovely sun you drew. Callmepie, that's hard to pronounce!
  3. Very nice! Sorrow as gained a level of experience! "Sir, we can just use the tree sap from the ones we just cut." You make the shields, the Guards can now last another round in battle! "Benji, Lycan, Sorrow, the Croise patrol is coming closer. Luckily, the patrol has no archers, a long ranged weapon may attack those up to 3 squares away. Firing into a building/window reduces your chances of hitting." QM Note: Since I can feel the fight getting closer, I'll just go into the rules. Firing long ranged weapons into buildings or windows: 1- Critical Hit 2- Hit 3- Miss 4- Miss 5- Damage 5- Damage Movement and Combat: Each unit can move 2 squares, and attack. Each time a unit is next to an enemy, that counts as a round in combat. So if your guard is adjacent to an enemy, the enemy loses 3 health, but your guard's health decreases as well. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, I control the enemy, using the same rules.
  4. Landscape changing- I totally agree!!! The world could be turned into a wasteland or something, or at the very end, a wizard makes us go back in time. Oh a better idea! Then when back in time, it is during the orc wars, and are new/old heroes were soldiers who fought against the orcs. My only problem is, I'd like to keep my old character. He wouldn't have to have the same name or level, but just his story be almost exactly alike. Everyone buy lots and lots of Phoenix essences!
  5. "The trees have sap, I'm not sure how sticky it is. Maybe if you told me what you have in mind, it could help."
  6. Here is, in my opinion, where we should say "No." It's in interesting idea, but Steampunk just isn't my thing. Then it wouldn't be Heroica anymore. But if we keep it fantasy, I'm okay. Here's an interesting thought, one of the heroes is so lucky and has nostrums and loaded die and everything, that in the final battle, he doesn't get KO'd.
  7. Ok questers! Let's fire the shot heard around the world! Just no guillotines in the end.
  8. "Fellow Resistance Fighter, it's 1 PM now, and we obliterated that forest, we'll have quite a bit of wood now. You mentioned something about riot shields? Please command us on the specifications and how to build one." "Sir! The recent activity is getting the Fantome Croise suspicious, he sent out a patrol of 3 Dark Croise's, luckily they are going the wrong direction... For now."
  9. You watch the ranks of your rebel army swell! 8 Charis guards join the party! They currently have no riot shields, as you farmers haven't started gathering materials. Where do you place them? QM Note: Patricia and Lucy aren't in the party list, since they can't fight. 10. "Please! You'll increase our durability for an extra round!"
  11. Oh, that's right. New map: At the residential area you talk to the guards: "The Fantome Croise is terrifying, he is everyone over here who is willing to fight:" Attractive woman- distracts guards, gives encouraged effect for 1 round of battle. 20 gold Charis guard- Causes 3 damage to an enemy each turn it is in combat, lasts 3 rounds before he dies. 5 gold
  12. You mean 4? The farmers go down to the houses, confused. They can't really harvest any materials over here. QM Note: No. He's just an NPC.
  13. That's why we have an epic battle. Then we all die and lose, and the next Heroica story picks up, where new heroes fight back and regain control. (That's what I'm hoping for anyways. )
  14. So it is our main idea that all characters die? Hopefully, we could turn the "conclusion" thread into a hall of fame. Where everyone becomes a semi-veteran. Then as I said, hopefully a new "chapter" would be able to be played, and we all get a new character with maybe some new rules.
  15. "Dues lo vult!" Knights B charge down the hill to attack Rogue Pikemen D. Crossbow B contines shooting Sir Laurant. Knight C attacks Rogue Knight C again.
  16. Aww... I don't want the game to end. But if it did, it should end with a massive battle against undead. Or maybe orcs, who have started an uprising? Then when the game ends, later it could start up again, but it is a different "chapter" if you know what I mean? When Sandy comes back and we get all the new unlimited battle quests and what not, perhaps he/she could advertise something on the front page.
  17. Wow. You got some nice stuff in there! I found another awhile back, it's called Armed by Faith, by Immediate Music. It's pretty epic, except that it sounds a bit more modern than TSFH.
  18. Sorrow has recruited 4 farmers! Please tell me where on the map you put them. You could just say something like, "5 squares right, 2 squares up" or something. Also, note if I edited your gold properly. In addition, I have currently labeled everyone you've recruited in the respective player's inventory. Party: Benji Carvenhall, Level 18.5 Warden *Party Leader* Power: 29 (28 for ranged attacks) Health: 33/33 Gold: 27 Inventory: Wave Sword (WP:11, cursed effect), Crossbow of the Pongcanis (WP: 10) (Darkness Elemental, Ice Elemental, Light Elemental), Armor of the Draugr (max health +2), Pickaxe, Bedroll, Shovel, Potion x6, Venom x3, Mead x3, Smoke Bomb x2, Remedy x1, Lightning Bomb x1, Smelling Salts x1, Nostrum x1, Grand Potion x1 Lycan Dean, 25 year old Level 2 Rogue Power:10 Health: : 8/8 Ether: 0 SP 0 Gold:37(95 gold owed to Thormanil) Inventory: Sabre (WP8) Potion, Venom, Attractive Woman Inventory: Sabre (WP8) Potion, Venom Sorrow, Level 6 Rogue - HP: 12/12 Gold: 201 Power: 18 Inventory: ) Steel Fan (WP = 12) Longsword (WP = 5) Scythe (WP = 3) Potion x2, Venom, Pheonix Essence, Ice Bomb, Bedroll, Nostrum , Attractive woman, Farmers x4
  19. No, jut no. Hinckley does it sooo much better.
  20. At the market, you look around to see who you can recruit. You spot a few strong peasants who could perhaps help with equipment, or just be a force builder. Farmer- Doubles material you can get in each area, doubles the speed which you can build things, can operate siege engines. Causes 2 damage in combat before he dies. 8 gold QM Note: You can recruit as many farmers as you like as long as you have the cash. Also, please say where on the map you want to place them. Oh yes, sorry, this is the last map, I'll get to work on updating TheBoyWonders pic, and start placing your recruits.
  21. "Crossbow B, loose!" Crossbow B continues fire on Sir Laurant. "Knights C, hold the line! Hold the line!" Knight C remains engaged with Rogue Knight C. Knight B attacks trebuchet B, and rogue pikemen D.
  22. Inspired by probably the greatest Revolutionary War admiral. You do know you already posted your name in this topic?
  23. You go back to the market place. You hear the guards whispering. "Hey, have you seen Leo and Brutus? They went to go deal with some trouble makers last night, haven't heard from them since." The axe is worth 30 gold. Do you proceed to sell it?
  24. WOAAHH! How'd you do that!? That's a lot of cheese slopes in different colors.
  25. You're welcome. TSFH is awesome. Their "Strength of 1000 men" is also good. Also, I tried listening to the 10 hour version, I only got to 1 hour 40 minutes.
