  1. PaB online for about 35 Euro. Benny
  2. Well what I asked myself is how does that part of the cafe look from the front? I guess you don't use a door there? IMO it would look better without a door, especially a glass door like the one you used doesn't fit at this place if you ask me. Benny
  3. Is there something alike for Lego Germany? I'd love to have the GG reduced, it would be great for parts I think... Benny
  4. I'm thinking about the same question... Seriously that expensive on BL?! Well than the Family Home (of which I already have three because I like the models ) would really be perfect. After all there's loads of tiles and other useful stuff in the inventory! Benny
  5. Same here, loads of basic bricks in the *dark* colours as well as tiles and plates
  6. Hi folks, as some might know I'm into building City now and that leads to certain Lego-stuff being needed here. What I need is: I. Roadplates I am looking for the 2009 Roadplates that can be found in sets 7280 and 7281, the dark grey ones. I need ten straights and four t-junctions. II. Bricks Nothing special, just normal bricks (1x1; 1x2; 1x3; 1x4; 1x6; 1x8; 1x10; 1x12; 1x16) in the following colours: a) Tan b) Dark Red c) Dark Blue d) Dark Green e) Dark Orange f) Lime g) Orange h) Purple i) White III. Windows and Doors I am looking for the new type of windows and doors. 1x4x3 and 1x4x5 frames with glass windows/doors. They are of the type found in the new Creator and Modular sets. What I have is: I. Roadplates I have the ones from 1997, green with white markings. I can offer two straights, two t-junctions, four x-crossings and eight curves. II. Castle walls Many different colours, mainly black and grey but also some yellow, white and red ones. III. Star Wars Vehicles Those found in the Battle packs. Ten of the old Clone BP, two of the old Droids BP, one of the Assassins Droid BP and five of the Rebel BP. I do have a spare Yoda's hut from 4502 too. IV. Money I'm neither stupid nor ignorant of Ebay, Bricklink and S@H prices but I am willing to pay reasonable prices. I'd prefer trading within the EU because of the shipping, but if shipping isn't outrages I will trade internationally too. Thanks for looking! Benny
  7. Argh two more days of waiting, but thanks anyway! Uhm so what? Benny
  8. Isn't the Fire Brigade set supposed to be available in september? No sign of it anywhere
  9. Nice topic brickster! I voted for the Cinema, it's the only Lego cinema I know and the design is superb. I really like the Town hall, the colours are perfect. And that gas-station is one of the best designed Lego gas-stations ever IMO. So glad I got this lovely set, and even better that I only paid about 100€ for it Benny
  10. Thanks mate, found them in my mail account today. Keep up the great work! Benny
  11. Would be great if you could send me some of your detailed pictures to my mail address vaders_son@web.de I love that building and am still busy figuring out some of the techniques you used. But it's kinda hard from the small pics... Cheers, Benny
  12. Same here
  13. Only one more hour to go!
  14. The third and last wave of stuff is up and running until tomorrow, sunday 7:30pm to 8:15pm German Time. The auctions include some highlights like a chrome gold C-3PO and many minifigs, make sure you check them out! Star Wars gems on Ebay Thank you! Benny
  15. I like the green ones better. They can act as grass alongside the street and if you don't want grass in your city you can always cover the green with plates. I have very little grey but quite some green plates from the old days - the ones with the with markings. Benny
  16. Nice topic, that's a problem I've been thinking about a bit myself over the last couple of weeks. Since I started buying City sets as well as the Modular sets to be precise As I have bought the Eiffel Tower too and will include it into my City layout as the Centerpiece I want to: 1. Have the Eiffeltower in the center of my city. 2. Put the Modulars and big buildings (MOCs?) around the Eiffeltower to form a City Center. Therefore a) The Eiffel Tower would be seperated by a large street around it, with loads of trees along the street. b) The Eiffel Tower will be raise several bricks high to prevent it from looking too small compared to the modulars. 3. From the City Center the smaller buildings will form suburbs, in the directions of a) The mountain behind the City to come b) The beach and ocean in front of the City to be created. The beach and ocean will give you some possibilities playing with the ground your houses stand on. For example you could build a rocky coastline that is several bricks high (towards the mountainrange) - put the houses up there will possibly divert from the big difference in size they and the modular buildings have. Other ideas like adding parks and stuff are great too, not only to keep the modulars and other sets somewhat apart but every city that has some green in it looks better than without imo. Benny
  17. Well I got myself a copy for 151€ of Ebay.de yesterday, a bit expensive but I just wanted to have it because I like the looks of it. I think it'll fit in well in my city to come, maybe alongside CC, GG and the fire brigade or maybe somewhere else I'd say go for it! Benny
  18. Sure I'll write you as soon as I know. Many more auctions up that end this sunday, several classic sets from 1999 as well as new ones among them: Second Wave of my SW Collection sale Please have a look. Benny
  19. Amazon always ships free if the order is above 20€ here in Germany
  20. I'm just getting into it
  21. Awesome layout mate, love the mix that can be found throughout your city. I even like the pink hotel I'll probably borrow some designs for my upcoming town Keep up the great work you two!! Benny
  22. Got my amazon.de order from wednesday today: And I'm getting the parts for 4999 Vestas day by day and I'm still waiting for my CC and the Farm and a Town House to arrive from Ebay/Bricklink... EDIT: Farm and Town House just arrived Benny
  23. Whilst putting together my next Lego order I found that 7687 is online and up for preorder on amazon.de They have some pics too, here's a link: City Calendar Hope this isn't old news and the right place Benny
  24. Actually I don't mind more firefighter sets too much, but I wont buy them as I'll stick with the modular one that is to be released this september. I really hope TLC keeps producing sets like city corner and other civil life sets, I love the new direction city is going atm! Benny
