Hello Brickfriends! In some spare time there is nothing better to do then build yourself a Lego Star Wars model :) I prefer to brick a non-existing model so I can be creative and use my own imagination. All ofcourse in Star Wars style. So here it is: The CT-2-SF "Clone Trooper Duo Star Fighter" It features some typical SW design elements with shapes similar from a snow speeder to even the big-megablocks Venator!! I haven't thought of any specs for now, so you can think of your own ;) The pictures: Here is the landing gear up for fly-mode. All in all I'm very happy with the result! It's sleek ans smooth and really looks like it's fast, powerful and agile. Feel free comment!!

Well hurry up then! ;) Still it seems like this is a little bit of a sleeper... I have received the 10174 by now and the 8088 and 7665. Could't be more happy. Now I'll just have to wait till I'm completely moved in my new house... Just a couple of weeks..!!

Great, I got it. Thanks a lot!!
-
I agree, no difference... Now can we get back on the 10212 UCS Imp. Shutlle?? (Just Kiddin').
-
Grrr such a bugger, I just missed 2 (!!!) oppertunities to buy the rare 7665 Republic cruiser. Both were Eur 125,- MISB... Gets me in a bad mood since all the other ones are go for Eur 189,- at least. But...!! I just bought the 10174 UCS AT-ST MISB for Eur 75,-!! It wil be delivered this week... Whaaa can't wait ;) I noticed that nobody did a review of this set? Is it impopulair for us SW collectors?
-
In the US the Midi MF is also sold out, but still available here in Holland. I guess not for long....
-
I don't understand it either... If you wan't more, just buy them and show us your army! I'm planning on buying 680 snowtrooper battlepacks

Awesome MOC!! You really made the most out of the limited space you had there.
-
Wow, I did not expect all those nice replies, so thanks!! For now I don't have the right bricks to make this one in a different colour. As stated in my starting post I only recently started with Lego SW, so many SW bricks are to be collected!! Once I've opened my UCS MF (Don't know if I will ever do that) I will increase the collection with almost 5200 bricks :) That'll do some good in the right direction! Any day soon this MOC will be de-built and I will try on something new. Probably the same colours will be shown again

Here two more pics to see how the engines are built. Thanks for the great comments so far! I built this one with bricks only out of the original (second) Y-wing (7658), Anakin's Y-wing (8037) and very little parts of the current Darth Vaders Tie Fighter (8017).

Hello there! After a 12 year break with Lego in general, I started with Lego SW about 4 weeks ago. Now at the age of 25 my dark years of shame are in the past and to celebrate that, I tried to build my first own creation after so many years!! Here is the Jedi PTJ. It isn't a 'real' excisting Star Wars unit, but I hope a little creativity doesn't hurt the SW world ;) With it's three engines and a Hyper Drive unit it is designed to keep up with the fastest starships in the universe. Since it has no weapons, this is a transporter purposed for times of peace. Here are the pictures of the PTJ on it's stand. I made it very smooth and narrow and with the three large enigines it looks like it's fast ;) Feel free to comment!! Ciao!

I bought my UCS MF two weeks back on the German Ebay for Eur 579,- It seems you were very lucky! Is 2TToys to be trusted? It looks a bit shabby to me... Some things they sell cheap and some things are way too expensive!
-
Wampa and the Slave 1 set are also musthaves for me, since I don't own an older snowspeeder or Slave 1. When I started 3-4 weeks back with Star Wars Lego I managed to brick the Walking AT-AT, the old Y-wing (7658), Anakin's Y-wing and Darth Vaders Tie. The Stormtrooper battlepack and UCS MF 10179 are still waiting in their sealed packaging. Which set I also will buy for sure is the new (UCS) 10212 Imp Shuttle, eventhough there aren't any pictures yet. Hell, what a nice way to start with all these Lego SW bricks! ...Doubting if I should buy the current 10198 Tantive IV...
-
And the well expected question... What kind of plans??
-
Sorry for bringing this one up again, but since this set is still available I'm wondering why everone is so excited about the 6212. Allright, apart from the UCS edition it's the best you can get from big L, but it's still just plain ugly to my eyes! Too much color, too short lasercannons and why is it white? I hope big L will come up with a better version soon. Average for me.

Just got a call that my 10179 Millenium Falcon arrived!!! (worth a party itself) So I will rush home whenever I get the chance. But...!! Today I found this picture on the web and I'm curious to know. Is this original or a MOC? Cheers

Last night I bought another 3 sets on Amazon UK. Anakin's Y-wing was/is on sale! So that is 6 sets in two weeks!! 10178, 10179, 7658, 8037, 8017 and 8084. Yup, that's 900,- Euro down the drain for a good cause!! Now that's what I call a fine start in the world of Lego Star Wars... I hope I can start brickin' soon

Had ook in het Nederlands gemogen! Anyway, so by that I can conclude that in this case the older 4483 AT-AT is considered as an UCS or am I completely missing an AT-AT now in the history of Lego?
-
Nice discussion I opened up here about the UCS model Perhaps they won't make it precise to minifig scale and will they fit a nice landingplatform underneath it. Who'll say?? Still a mistery why there's so little know about this upcoming (master)piece. Can't wait for the details!!

10030 UCS ISD: 3104 pieces 10179 UCS MF: 5195 pieces 10188 UCS DS: 3803 pieces Just a few for example ;)
-
Hmm am I mixed up now? I have the latest motorized version of the AT-AT. This is the 10178. Isn't this the UCS version? Since the only other AT-AT I know is the older (in my opinion better looking) 4483 Lego set. Anyway, thanks for the replies so far!! Cheers Forgot to post... Just ordered the old Midi size Y-Wing 7658 MISB Should arrive on Friday!
-
Allright, allright!! Sounds promising. Sadly no pictures yet...? 2503 pieces should make a fairly big Shuttle But still... I'm hoping for something bigger
-
Does anyone have a clue if there will come a new set in the scale of the UCS MF 10179 and UCS ISD 10030?? And if, what should it be??
-
After 10+ years of Star Wars Lego there is so much to choose from!! Still a lot of older sets are available for a reasonable price, so at the moment I'm like a 10 year old child in a way too big candy-store... Take this one? Hmmm or maybe this one? Oh no wait! I want that one! Or... Allright you get the point. If only my monthly income would be up to my spending behaviour

Hello there Lego fans, I'm new here and since this is my first post, I will introduce myself shortly. My name is Sven, 25 years young and I live in Holland (The Netherlands). Besides my re-start with Star Wars Lego I do a lot with High End audio and video. Two weeks back I bought my first Star Wars set which is the UCS 10178 AT-AT. Not the most accurate, but still very much fun to build and play with. This triggered me for wanting more and more! So today I ordered the UCS 10179 Millenium Falcon for Eur 579,-. Probably one of the last below the Eur 600,- in Europe. I'm doubting if I want to buy a second one and keep it sealed for the future when prices will rise. Further more I would like to ask which sets are absolute must-haves? Mostly only sets from the original trilogy interests me. Regards!!
