  1. Hi everyone! Here's my entry for the Let's Go Cosplay Contest (and my first MOC on Eurobricks): Theme: The Powerpuff Grils Character: Bubbles Cost: around EUR 5 for modelling clay (I needed three blocks – white, red and yellow). Paint doesn't count as I got it once for birthday;) Hector (42) and June (29) have been married for a year now. They share a passion for old comics and cartoons but it's only recently that they've decided to go to a comic cosplay event. Hector is a really tough guy (or so he seems at first glance) – burly, hairy and tattooed (by the way, that's why June fell for him – she thought he was so unlike the sissy guys around her) so it's obvious to June that the character he's going to impersonate has to match his super-virile looks. She's just decided who they were going to dress up as and she can't wait to break the news to her husband... But Hector's plans for the upcoming event are quite different... Hector-Bubbles-would-be-Bluto in his full glory: And the last pic The whole set on Flickr Hope you'll enjoy it. June certainly won't
  2. Here are my votes: 22) Vampire Entry (Build by lisqr) - 2 points 29) Witch Entry (Build by Almirante Don Rodrigo) - 1 point. Good job everyone:D
  3. One point each: 12) Diver & Surfer Entry (Build by squiz) 19) Skater Boy & Spartan Entry (Build by Etzel) 24) Caveman & Traffic Cop Entry (Build by Torham) Good luck, guys!
  4. Actually, he's from Poland. And the set is based to some extent on a fan's model. Check if you haven't seen it yet.
  5. I'm afraid I have to disagree with you - Kris's creations aren't getting better and better - they're just unfailigly amazing, each and every one of them;D
  6. Could anyone remind the Flickr name of the guy who used a 1x2 brick with digger bucket arm holder 3317 as a torso for his two-headed zombie? It was in his photo that I saw this brick used as a torso for the first time and I'd like to give him the credit when I publish my new MOC but but can't remember his nickcname.
  7. Name: Sorrow Allegiance: Bluecoats
  8. Thank you for the nice welcome:D Stacy, I somehow overlooked the Ladies Longue so big thanks to you for letting me know about it. Lordofdragonss, gdzie Twoja krówka?;) (just asked Lordofdragonss about the cute avatar he uses at Lugpol)
  9. Thank you White Fang for running this contest and congratulations to the participants on your witty vigs - I did have fun watching them:D I was checking out the entries every day and looking forward to voting but now that the time has come to choose the best entries, I'm at a loss. And since I'm unable to pick just three entries from my shortlist (it's all your fault! Why did you make so good MOCs?:P) all three points will go to my absolute favourite, that is: Redcross's Clown Entry (17) - 3 pt. Althought the setting for this minifig is kind of obvious, I love its melancholic atmosphere, the way parts were used and perfect layout - detailed but not cluttered. But I keep fingers crossed all of you guys, you did a great job!
  10. Hi, I've been browsing this site for a couple of months now and I thought it was high high time I joined in and said hello. I also wanted to thank those of you who post their tutorials at EB - you guys made my coming out of the Dark Age a lot easier:) As for my Lego-related interests and activities, well... for the time being, they are limited to sorting bricks, improving my sorting systems, watching other people's MOCs and compulsive searching through BL for new minfigs to buy. As you can se, I have hardly any time for building left;P See you around! Sorrow (as my surname sounds rather pathetic, I wanted to have an equally pathetic English nickname )
