12v was the best era for LEGO trains,for me,but I don't have the time and the money to get all the rail material I need. And everybody here know why that was the best,wonderful train models(with lights),wire control of everything in the layout,wonderful crane and other railway material and don't forget in every railway station you can have light. I like the new pf train because you can run four train in a normal layout,but we have to find a solution for switch and railway crossroad. ok,wait for the next season of train and see what happend.

It is a wonderful software,give you the idea and the misure of your layout. My only problem is where i pass by with the monorail!!

do you have made modification on the engine?it work good?the second class is an ecellent idea,without table

what i need in my city is a lot of brickmade trees,road lamp(old style like in town plan and new style)electric pole and power plant,a new seaport,golf camp,a new monorail(with the same old rail)Hospital,market,flour mill,and the old fashion car shop(with ford"t",cadillac eldorado'59,and fiat 500)

No,i have to motorize the Emerald,the Java Sandcrawler,and some 9v train,because is to late for me to start to collect 9v rail. i want to change in PF all the train i can.

not yesterday,but last month i buy : 8404-1 3222-1 and 500 euro of Motor,battery,light(all PF) last week 1500 euro for a complete collection (2 trains 9v,police station,fireman station,airport,railway station a lot of road platform,pirate ship etc)i delete the complete set list,for a my mistake,and now i can't tell you all the set. next time...

i think there is another super pack with the passenger train,the railway crossroad and some pack of rail,but i don't know the set code. try to check on ebay,but for me (on ebay)is not cheaper.

Yesterday I put the motor on my EN,(but i've made a modification on it,now is a 2-4-2)I follow the instruction,and after fixing some small problem(Ex:short cable battery box-ir reicever)it run faster then a bullet...or less,but with a lot of noise. No problem,i put on the axe and in the tooth-wheels a sylicon spray(ouch!! very expensive)but now the EN work very fine. Last thing,I have made a lot of modification on the arm in the motorized wheels,because the original build up from Lego,as you know,made a lot of problem.

Well gentleman,finally i have made my modification on the Emerald,and it work. In my intention i want to put the battery box,and the motor inside of the locomotive(and keep the fire mouth),but in the normal emerald it isn't possible,i have to made it larger but it isn't in my project. I made it longer with place for the fire mouth and motor.I change in a 2-4-2,and i made everything is possible to made the wheel mechanism work good. Tomorrow morning i have to find a shop because i don't have the kit for motor\remote control,but i made a lot of test and i think it is fine now. Hi everyody,greetings from Italy Have a very good web site here. i'm 37 years old and i have restart to collect lego,and from 20 years ago a lot of thing are changed. what i like?the city theme,with a very good railway across,but i find very intresting model also in star wars. my friends tell me i have to do some MOC,but i'm from the religion of follow instructions and never touch the model;but i start to do something,i have motorized my sandcrawler with a rcx,but i want a remote control and some motor for drive it; and now i have to try to install the battery pack and the motor in the emerald steam engine,not in the tender,in this day i have to buy the second. So,don't loose time and let's start to play!
