Hi Lego Train Comunity, when I saw about 2 years ago this picture, I decided i had to build my own version with bricks.. Very simply, I had to a put a lot of stickers on a white "chassis", like the original one ...so I thougt|!!! :cry_happy: ...taking pictures of the old Austrian steam lok RH 310 of 1911, ..and attach the stickers.., like here the designer Gudrun Geiblinger who realized this masterpiece.. Here my "chassis" P1040044 by MASSIMO B, su Flickr together with its smaller brother.. Hi Train comunity, after the first 3 videos of my trans running at Model Expo Italy on 21/22 February 2015, here new videos showing other trains: my Frecciarossa and the Railjet of our friend Helos. As you can see in the curves, these are the heaviest and longest trains of the lot (all trains are 7 studs wide!): for the next event, we have to work very much to lighten those convoys to run faster than now! At last my "old" E 424. Please, remember: you have to switch on HD to watch them in High Quality. Here the links : Enjoy the run ... Max

Several derailments, dr Spock, but not on the high speed track!!!!!

Hi Train comunity, as required, here are some of my trains running at the MODEL EXPO ITALY in Verona last 21/22 February (over 70.000 visitors in 2 days!!!). These are the first 3 trains, next time the other ones, mine and the trains of Helos. It has been the biggest and most amazing layout ever seen in Italy, with larges curves and a long long straight, where we pumped up over 20Volts!!!!! But no matter for our engines! My videos are all dedicated to our common friend ust60: Udo, it's for you! He knows why... Please, remember: you have to switch on HD to watch them in High Quality. Here the links : Special thanks to CLV Verona, the local Afol group that organized the event. Enjoy the run.... See you soon. Max

HI Lego train comunity, after a long, long, forced, period of NO LEGO (!!), finally I can show you my newest realizations, just in time for the MODEL EXPO ITALY, next 21-22 February in Verona, the most important model exhibition in Italy and one of the biggest in Europe, where LEGO returns once again this year, with new shows and reproductions. My first train is a historical, italian train, running on our railways in the late '50 and '60, it's a 7 studs train in nearly real colors... The original My version And what about an historicl B&W picture...
-
Hi Comunity, here is my second train, an italian regional and interregional train, very common on our raiways. It's a 7 studs realization, and the rear wagon with cabine is 69 studs long!!! If you want, you can see it running at the MODEL EXPO ITALY in Verona (Italy), next 21-22 February, on a wonderful train layout: The original E 464 And here the layout at the MODEL EXPO ITALY in Verona where you can see this train running for 2 days.....

This is a german train (Siemens) which runs as OBB-Italy also in northern Italy. I invite you to see it at MODEL EXPO ITALY in Verona, next 21-22 February, on a wonderful train layout : The original My version

Hi to all. After presenting you my 6 studs version of the "Caiman" - the legendary italian E 656 - last year (95419#entry1887313), here is my 7 studs version, tapered to 6 studs on the front and the rear, like the real one. Togheter with some passenger wagons, you can see it running at the MODEL EXPO ITALY in Verona, next 21-22 february, on a wonderful train layout. The original My version And here is the Layout of the MODEL EXPO ITALY in Verona, where you can see this train running. Hope to meet you there...

Hi Lego train Comunity, after presenting you last year my 6 studs version of the first FRECCIAROSSA Lego train, the italian high speed train (95806&hl=frecciarossa), here is my 7 studs version, very impressive for measures and weight... With 4 9V motors it will run at the MODEL EXPO ITALY in Verona, next 21-22 February. But, what happens??? There is an intruder... You have to come to the exhibition to see what happens! I've been at FANWELT in Cologne, last November 2014, and there I saw the wondelful exhibition of MORAST, a German Afol comunity which realizes amazing layouts with MONORAIL. So I decided to build my Frecciarossa Monoral version, in honor to MORAST and I hope to see it running at the next FANWELT!!!

Hi LEGO Comunity, I dont know if this is the right thread where posting this MOC. However, if the post has to be relocated, no problem with moderators. I'm not exactly a MOC car builder, I prefer MOC trains as you can see in my linked pages. But I like real cars, especially classic cars, like the Citroen DS which is one of my favourites, and so once a year I try to build a realistic car model. I saw many MOCs of the DS in the web, but when I saw "gribra"s project (credit to him and hope he will reach most supporters in "LEGO ideas") I decided to attempt a similar realisation. After several ideas and projects, last month I finally built the car. What do you think about it? For me, and as gibra wrote, it is very important that the car perfectly fits to the already existing and amazing VW T1 Camper Van (10220), not like - I think - the MINI Cooper (10242) which is certainly very nice but, compared to the VW Van, not an exact match of scale (also Dirk1313, in his topic -showtopic=96991- presenting his wonderful Mini Cooper Convertible MOD, said the same thing). If you have any question, I'm always available. Max - bmacro the original gribra's "idea" my attempts (POV rendering) The real final...hope you enjoy it bmacro: www.flickr.com/photos/95725803@N07/

Hello lego community, due to an invite of a friend of us, here is my second version of the Italian railway high speed train called Frecciarossa, actually in service in Italy and able to reach a speed of over 300 km/h. My first version, exhibited for the first time at the Model Expo Italy 2014 last March in Verona (built in 2013), wasn't able to run on standard curves, but only on smooth curves. This version adapts to every radius. Let me know you that the opening of the Direttissima line, connecting Florence with Rome, in stages between 1978 and 1991 was the first high speed line in Europe and that the last speed record of the Frecciarossa is 362 km/h (225 mph)- 2009 - between Florence and Bologna. This represents the "indoors" world speed record, as the speed was reached in the Monte Bibele tunnel on the new high speed line between Bologna and Florence. Here the original here my MOC And at last the video (to watch in HD) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=056XHaL5L3A Now I hope to see it running at the next Fanwelt 2014 in Cologne ..... Thanks for watching this little treat... (and thanks to Rick and Fugazi for their admirable tolerance ...)

Udo, excellent work! Love it! And don't matter about speed, in our country there is a proverb which says: who goes slowly, goes healthy and far away ...... Now, after seen yours, I have to motorized also my BR23 .. and his is very hard (for me )!!!!!

Hey MaineBrickFan, lovely! But I like the DarkRed version more... You think, you would build it too? .- 16 replies

Hey bricknerd, my friend, is there any copyright on you own creation? I don't think so, otherwise you would start a legal case against who copies your engine (I'm a lawyer, Do you need help?)! Remeber: Lego is a toy, it's a game, it's a pleisure to share also with other fans! I think, you should be honoured if someone build the same engine!!!! I think, you have to use an other spirit!!! Despite Barduck didn't ask you first and didn't give proper credit! Leg godt!!! Regards. Max PS: was soll das??? For Barduck: please, give bricknerd its credit! Thanks.

Thanks a lot, my Lego Train Fan friends!! I didn't expect so many approvals! Perhaps, the loc is really beautiful ... I don't think so! Special thanks to Jopiek, emilstorm ( ... That locomotive looks like it was begging to be built in Lego ...! Yeah, perhaps next millennium!!!), Selander (look at BL 13760 and 13756), UrbanErwin ( ... pretty sweet engine... pretty sweet ??? It's a beast!!!), jorrith (.. the Grand Station in Milan is really a masterpiece of "vintage" architeture, it's easy to take good pictures there...), scotNick ( 6 wide: yes, now for me it's more difficult than building in 7 wide, but the reason of this challange is that the original was in 6 wide: I wanted to respect my first choice), dr_spock (...Your original version is good too, it has a toy-like charm to it ... Lovely definition!!!), ust60 (personal message coming), MusicaRibelle (.. Grazie! ..Can we see it towing some FS passenger cars? yeah, the project of the cars is just ready, I have only to organize a bank robbery next week!!!), and finally the Duke, Lego Train 12 Volts: I have only to bow when I meet a king! Your words are a gift for me! Thanks a lot...! And for those who like Italian trains and their winking design like me, let me know you that I'll soon post a new special train (a common friend of us asked me to do it!!! together with a related video...I have to work hardly!!!) that anyway you can already locate in any pictures you've seen above.. Thanks a lot! Max

Ah Ok just a moment!!

Hi to all, here my newest project. The FS Class E 656, an Italian articulated electric locomotive built from 1973 to 1989, an all-purpose locomotive, used on every kind of train, ranging from freight to intercity passenger transport. Its nickname is "Caimano" (Caiman), due to its strenght. The hull is divided in two parts, each one with its own twin axle bogie, plus a central bogie in the middle (and that's because it's articulated). The initial project speed was 160 km/h (99 mph), but later it was reduced to 150 due to stability problems and its heavy. Here the original and my version A wonderful picture at the Grand Station in Milan (2013) The hinge The E 656 with some friends ... And finally, a curiosity: 4 or 5 years ago, I build my first version of the E 656: very horrible, I think today! Wrong colors and wrong size ... but at that time I was really proud of my realisation!! So, the present version is not a MOC but a MOD of a MOC .....

BUUUMMM!!! What's that??? It's irreal! WoW wow! My dear friend! This is a masterpiece!!! I knew that you were working on it, but didn't know that you created a wonderful engine!!! Top! really. I like the complex bogies and the connecting rods, to much for me!!! You know that I'm not very expert about steam locomotives, but the beauty is beauty!!! Congratulations! I want to see it as soon as possible live, running with its 4 PF POWERFULL motors!! GREAT GREAT GREAT JOB!!!!!
